👍 A beautiful campsite that is well-maintained and cared for. The atmosphere is lovely with the castle and the landscaping in the background. It’s ideal that someone at the reception also speaks Dutch. Nice swimming pool, fun play areas for the children, and delicious bread at the campsite. We had a wonderful stay! Pitch/Rental accommodation: Quiet spot, perfect for young children. No passing traffic, safe and clear. Opportunity to sit in both sun and shade. In the evening, there is real peace at the campsite. 👎 The restaurant quickly gets fully booked, and we missed the chance to grab an ice cream or have a cup of coffee before 4 PM at the campsite. Maybe it would be a good idea to place benches in the play area (down below) by the pool so parents don’t have to sit on the ground while watching their children. You need to be present, as otherwise supervision is challenging due to the slope...

Pros

Spacious campsite with enough trees for some shade. Activities for children. Pool for some extra cooling. Pitch/Accommodation: The spot is spacious and there are trees that provide shade

Cons

The sanitary building is in need of renovation. Sanitary facilities (toilets and showers) are not very clean. The pool needs some extra maintenance. Pitch/Accommodation: The spot is uneven and there is little grass. There are also coniferous trees (resin) and that is not convenient for the tent fabric.

Pros

Pleasant stay, the campsite is perfect, large pitches, quiet, walks around the lake. The staff is very nice. Pitch/Accommodation: New, nice, clean, functional, and very well-equipped accommodation.

Cons

The pool could be heated a little. The restaurant is good, but there should be a bit more flexibility with the hours and more variety for vegetables. Some evening entertainment would be nice.

👍 We had a lovely time at Poinsouze with five of us. The swimming pool and the beautiful sanitary facilities stood out. We chose a spot with private sanitation, which was very pleasant for five people, but the large sanitary building was always tidy and clean. Campsite/Rental accommodation: Spacious spot, not much shade, which was a pity at 37 degrees and full sun, but you can also create your own shade. :-) 👎 Especially the opening hours of the bar could have been more flexible for us. They were limited, every day from 4:00 PM to about 8:00 PM. While there was a cozy terrace with some nice lounge sofas and chairs. We would have loved to sit there during the day for a cup of coffee or just to grab an ice cream. Campsite/Rental accommodation: The private sanitation was very enjoyable. Quick rinsing, being able to leave your own belongings in the shower, we found it a great advantage. Only downside...
