Motorhome

The beach was mega dirty and smelled strongly, it was not cleaned. In the restaurant, everything was reserved, whether for lunch or dinner, the service staff was very, very rude. The sanitary facilities were dilapidated, despite excellent cleaning staff. The supermarket was top-notch. We wanted to stay for 2 weeks, but we said goodbye after 2 nights. It’s a shame, it used to be a relaxing and beautiful campsite.

I didn't notice anything bad; everyone (without exception) is very helpful and accommodating. The sanitary facilities were cleaned up to 4 times a day, so very, very clean. We will definitely come back🤩🤩🤩

Not a Bad Campsite

Motorhome

December 2023

The spots for tourists are quite large. Unfortunately, the access roads are a bit narrow when coming with a larger motorhome with a trailer. Quite bizarre are the many "villas" of the permanent campers that have been built up and down with all available materials. The toilet facilities are clean but quite outdated. The site itself is very large and spacious. Unfortunately, the swimming pools were not open and all other facilities were not available either. Only the supermarket was open and had a large selection, which was very decent. The Mar Menor is just behind the campsite, but now in winter was only used by a few surfers, otherwise, everything around was dead. The restaurant at the campsite is rather average.

Upon checking in, we learned that the covered swimming pool is not heated and the gym is not available. Access to the parking spaces is very narrow. The sanitary facilities are outdated but very clean and well heated. Overall condition compared to other campgrounds is outdated. The bar with kitchen is inexpensive, good, and the staff is very nice.

Overnight stay! Arrival after 8 PM: nice reception, but we had to pay an additional €11 reservation fee on top of the pitch fee (without reservation?). The shop and swimming pool were closed. The sanitary facilities were old and dirty. The shanties of the permanent campers make the place look even more shabby. The pitches are okay.

The campsite is rated too highly

January 2022

The sanitary facilities have become outdated. Toilet paper in the room before the toilets. The access to the pitches is narrow. The price-performance ratio is not good. The accommodations of the permanent campers are unusual. Wi-Fi not included in the price. The advance payment was credited, but we were also there for the booked period.

A Village of Its Own

Very good8

The first impression is: Huge. We were there at the end of February and only got a motorhome spot with a prior reservation. The site itself is nice - depending on where you stand. There are many spots that border 'cabins', which we think is not that great because most of them are incredibly ugly and built-up. A walk around the grounds is definitely worth it :-). The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated. But clean. Unfortunately, you cannot hang your clothes separately while showering, so they always get a bit wet, but you can survive that... The shower drain - there are just things you have to overlook. On the other hand, the restaurant at the end of the site is highly recommended. We were initially skeptical because it seems a bit uncomfortable, but the food is really very good and the prices are very moderate. There is not much to explore on foot and what is there is closed in February. However, the weather was very nice. There were very beautiful days and we would come back.
