Thanks to its special location in the bay of Helnæs on the Baltic Sea island of Funen, Fyn in Danish, the campsite is virtually surrounded by water on three sides. The site is popular with families and couples and is located on a meadow area divided by hedges with individual deciduous and pine trees. The site is slightly terraced, giving everyone an unobstructed view of the bay and the small islands off the coast. Of the 235 pitches in total, 205 are parcelled out. The shallow shore and quiet bay can also be enjoyed from the campsite's own restaurant-café. For campers, amenities such as emptying waste water tanks, cassette toilets and a gas bottle supply are available. The mini-market or Faaborg, 5 kilometres away, are ideal for shopping. For children there is a separate sanitary area, two large playgrounds with bouncy cushions, a playland for the cooler days and children's entertainment with a colourful programme. Bicycle and pram hire provide entertainment for young and old. Water sports enthusiasts and boat lovers also get their money's worth here. There is a bathing and boat jetty and a boat ramp on the 200 m long sand and pebble beach. Everyone will find a cosy corner on the quiet campsite - in the low season, guests stroll along the almost deserted beach.

Excursions and activities

The First Camp Bøjden Strand - Fyn campsite impresses with its proximity to the sea and the associated water sports opportunities such as diving, sailing, kayaking and water skiing. Families can play mini-golf or simply relax on the beautiful sunbathing lawn by the water, while the children splash around in the shallow water and have fun in the playgrounds. The little ones can let off steam in the extra playground for children aged 0-5. Excursions take you to the sights of Funen, such as the Hans Christian Andersen Museum in Odense or the medieval Egeskov moated castle in Kværndrup. The islands around South Funen are also well worth a visit. The island of Lyø with its 18th century houses is well worth a visit. Day trips to the island of Avernakø in the Danish South Sea are also offered on a historic sailing boat.
