We spent Pentecost there in 2022. The place has had a new owner for half a year now. We particularly enjoyed the absolute peace in nature and the friendliness of the owners. The owners were very attentive, so I had the feeling of being a welcome guest. The playground still needs investment, but our kids had fun anyway. Especially the stream has its charms for the kids. One of the two sanitary buildings was still very old, but clean, which is the most important thing. We liked it so much that we will definitely come back. Also to see what changes the owners were able to make.

The peace here is unparalleled!! A little stream (Ems) runs across the site, which provides a wonderful idyll and cooling, as there are shade-giving trees along the stream!! I was able to sleep well during the day and recover well from my night shifts (mobile nurse)!! There is 1 new sanitary house for the winter days and 1 for summer, open! Washing machine available! Prices are very moderate!! The only drawback: there is no continuous kitchen in the mill/guesthouse and office of the operator! Bad Emstal-Sand, Fritzlar, and Naumburg/Hesse can be reached in a few minutes by car, and ALDI, EDEKA, and various gastronomy options can be found there!! I fell in love with this beautiful, quiet campsite with the little stream Ems immediately!! Looking forward to next year...!!
