Campingplatz Wusterhausen

The pitches are large enough, even for bigger trailers, and are partly separated by hedges. We have been here several times and are happy to return, even if one or two things might be a bit outdated or could be modernized after all these years, especially in light of rising prices. But overall, the sanitary facilities are clean and are cleaned regularly. The direct access to the lake is nice for a quick cool down or to get in with a SUP. Swimming can be done at the nearby outdoor pool. Entrance is free for guests of the campsite. The bread service in the high season is well intended, but I prefer to ride my bike every morning the 2.5 km to the local bakery.

positive: The lake is fenced off. The key to the gates can be obtained for a deposit of €25. There are many swimming areas at the lake. The beach can be accessed for free, but we did not test it (the lake was enough). The comfort and lakeside pitches are equipped with electricity, water, and sewage (+ TV connection), the free wifi is very weak in the evening. Mobile reception is sometimes limited. The pitch was well kept and well maintained. All staff are friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are well maintained. For warm showers, you need 50 cents for 6 minutes. 50 cents also for the washing machine and dryer! Playground large and well maintained. negative: The cleaning times were not respected (longer than the stated 2 hours for sanitary building 3). We will come back!

The campsite is located directly by a lake. The only official access to the lake is via the beach. The other access points to the lake are unmonitored and quickly drop into deep water. Sanitary facilities are in desperate need of renovation. 0.50€ for a hot shower is actually no longer the norm. There are no children's toilets or changing rooms for kids. The facilities are really dusty in many places, even though cleaning work is carried out daily. The internet connection with Wi-Fi at the campsite is extremely poor, as is the mobile network. The playground needs to be designed to be more open directly by the main road. Vehicles sometimes pass by at high speed. The animal enclosure - well, a few chickens.. worst of all, the trash can only be emptied three times a day. Set a wake-up call on your holiday :(

We booked a vacation apartment for Ascension Day in December. Before our arrival, we asked via email whether bed linens and towels were included in the price. The website states that everything is cozy and that towels and bed linens are ready for us. We received a yes in response. On the day of departure, we were presented with a bill for 60€ to be paid for bed linens and towels. We showed our extra requested email, but that did not interest the lady at the reception. She just kept saying system error. Out of the 4 days, we also had 2 days without hot water. It was broken and needed to be repaired. No apologies came here either. We also ended up having to pay that 60€, no apologies, nothing. What can we do about the system error? Extra costs are not displayed. I wonder why we are paying an additional 50€ service fee.

A campsite that squanders a lot of potential. Family-friendly YesNo. The playground at the entrance is in need of repair. There is no protection from the midday sun. What saves the place is its immediate proximity to the water. The petting zoo/ animal enclosure. Yes, you can look at animals from afar. The lighting at the campsite is really adventurous at night. The paths are not properly repaired (no, I'm talking about leveling) the sanitary facilities are in need of renovation. There are no fixed cleaning times. Wi-Fi and mobile network are poor on site. The worst are the rubbish times during which you can exclusively dispose of the rubbish. The little kids with diapers aren't interested in that either. PS: there is no decent changing room and bath space for toddlers as promised. This takes place within a camping kitchen without light :/.

If you love tranquility and nature, you are exactly right at the Wusterhausen campsite. Even for the four-legged friends it’s great there, because you can wonderfully go for a walk and swim with the dogs. The sanitary area is very well maintained. THE ENTIRE TEAM is very nice and accommodating, starting from the reception, through the cleaning staff to the groundskeeper. We will definitely come back...

A beautiful place, with many activities on and around the square. Some are of course seasonal. Everything is clean. Those who love nature and tranquility are exactly in the right place here.

Quietly situated in nature, we were able to relax here for a few days with our furry friend. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Shopping opportunities can be found in the village (about 1.5 km away). We will come back! :)
