All in all, rather below average. The place and especially the washhouse have aged quite a bit, but it seems "well-maintained". One must give credit to the young team that they only took over the place in January 23. Some rental accommodations (cabins) have been created, and a small catering service in the form of a kiosk with a beer garden. A beautiful campsite.
We were at the campsite in April 2023. We enjoyed it very much. The operators were very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities have seen better days but are set to be renewed. Cozy, beautiful and rustic campground :-)
Very nice owner, the site offers plenty of shade in summer due to many trees on the camper meadow. A canoe rental is offered on site - that was a nice tour. We would love to come back.

Small, simple campsite
Located on the edge of the village, nice selection of restaurants. All within walking distance. Train line audible, friendly operator. The sanitary facilities have a 70s flair. The entrance is quite steep. Long trailers need to be careful not to bottom out.

Quiet campsite on the outskirts
Simple, but clean place, not overcrowded even in the season. Food and restaurants in the village, 1.5 km away. Located on the Werra cycling path. Quiet, street and train do not disturb.
