Campingplatz Wackerballig

The camping card is very inconvenient, as you always have to have it with you to open all the doors, have electricity, or take a shower. Showering costs €1 for 6 minutes, which is fine, as long as you don't have to activate the shower at the entrance and the time starts counting down immediately. The cabins are very cramped with minimal storage space. It's really a shame that, with such beautifully renovated and modern showers, the functionality is stuck in the '80s. If showers are not height-adjustable, it is not very comfortable for shorter people. A hairdryer has also become standard by now. However, the sanitary area is perfectly clean. What bothered us were the numerous prohibitory signs everywhere. Of course, there need to be rules, but they can also be formulated positively. Not every sentence has to start with 'it is forbidden...'.

Rarely experienced such nice and especially engaged employees. Sanitary facilities always clean. We felt very comfortable. Super helpful. Price/performance okay. The boss very nice and helpful. We will gladly come back.

New, modern, very well-maintained sanitary facilities. Great billing system with the Campcard. Nice reception. We were on a pitch in the first row - they are a bit small, but still very beautiful. And just look at the sunset!!!!!

Very nice small campsite in the Gelting Bay...! From there, everything can be easily reached...(Kappeln, Flensburg, and the beautiful nature and the Baltic Sea) Very well-maintained sanitary area, bread service, food vending machine with products from the region)

Over Pentecost, my son and I were at the Wackerballig campsite with our van, specifically in the front row by the waterline. New showers and similarly nice toilets, a convenient card system, and friendly, attentive operators have made for a pleasant week, even though it was still quite cold. The sunset over the Gelting Bay makes up for it. We will come back. Rolf from Kiel.
