Campingplatz Sigmaringen

A beautiful campsite. Everything was great - the location right on the Danube is stunning, the sanitary facilities are clean and well-maintained, and the entire team was super friendly.

Very well managed, clean toilet and bathing facilities. Washing area a bit too small. Quiet location near the castle. Facilities: perfect due to the proximity to the city and Kaufland. Biking: +++++++

The reception was extremely friendly and helpful. Great well-maintained pitches with water at the pitch. Lots of greenery. Sanitary facilities clean and can be opened with a key. Very quiet, a shopping center nearby. City center (Sigmaringen Castle Hohenzollern) can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. The place is directly on the Danube. There are many options for cycling. We felt very comfortable and will surely come back.

Very high price level for this spot for a camper van. Motorhome parking space outside the campsite and without using the showers at the campsite. Very strict guidelines; one could pay something for the showers. Why is there no annual spot? The location is already good in every season. We only saw the site manager once when there were complaints. But when entering and exiting, one was observed through the window. Friendly person at the reception. Despite complaints, we will visit the site again.

We were here again this weekend for the umpteenth time. We really like it here. Friendly operators, quiet place, very good restaurant and perfect for cycling. We will gladly come back.

A site located directly on the Danube bike trail with very good sanitary facilities, always clean and no extra costs. No Wi-Fi available and very poor mobile reception. Fresh rolls are available nearby at the Kaufland bakery. We were here for three days, would come back anytime. The operators are very friendly and helpful.

Because we liked it so much here last year, we booked a week again this year. Everything was great again – even the weather treated us to blue skies with almost summer-like temperatures at the end of September. We implemented a few of the hiking suggestions from the tour book "Danube Rock Trials" that was provided at check-in – starting from the former monastery Inzigkofen, which is only about 4 km away. Very unusual: We found no opportunities to wash a little laundry ourselves (only "laundry service" available for a fee). Saving water is okay - but the short shower times are clearly exaggerated. It doesn't really save anything of course - you just have to press the button 5 times instead of 2.

We spend a week in Sigmaringen every year and had removed this spot from our list years ago. After the restructuring a few years ago and under the new management, it will be our regular spot again. Well-structured grounds right by the Danube. Very friendly staff and perfect reservation management. Modern sanitary facilities without frills. Clean. Corona rules were well implemented and the campers adhered to them. We will come back.
