Sloping grassland interspersed with gravel, divided by hedges and surrounded by deciduous trees. Dominated by permanent campers. Tourist pitches in the area close to the beach. In a rural setting.

North of Oldenburg there is a military training area. Therefore, you may experience noise disturbances from shooting exercises, sometimes even at night. According to the latest inspection in this area, the shooting exercises are suspended for eight weeks during the summer main season.

The washroom is spotlessly clean at all times of the day, I haven't experienced anything like this everywhere. This must be said. The kiosk is very well stocked and the operators are super friendly, even though the operation can certainly be stressful at times. The campsite is very clean, and the atmosphere among the day campers is very relaxed. Some dog owners could be a bit more disciplined. All in all, a great place. The nearby beach is very well maintained and very suitable for parents with small children as the water is shallow. And the waves are low. Clear, clean water for long walks in the early morning.
