Campingplatz Schöner Odenwald

The site is basically at the end of a dead-end street. Only the parking lot for the forest swimming pool is still a little further. However, this was closed due to seasonal reasons. Therefore, it is wonderfully quiet here. The friendly operator let us choose our own spot, and so we had basically a meadow to ourselves along with great sanitary facilities! Top-maintained wet areas, very spacious and inviting. Butcher and baker are easily reachable on foot, there are nice hiking trails all around, and the summer toboggan run along with the climbing forest are also accessible after a walk in the woods. In short: this place is fantastic!

Very nice place in a quiet location on the outskirts of the village. Ideal for hiking in the beautiful Odenwald. The operator was always very friendly and in good spirits. Our pitch was very large, we had plenty of space for the caravan with awning, car, and ourselves. The sanitary building is in top condition, looks like new. Always absolutely clean and well maintained. The shower and individual wash cabins are very spacious. Unfortunately, there are no rolls available on site, but bakers and butchers are in the immediate vicinity. The swimming pool is very easily accessible by foot (unfortunately it was still closed). We will gladly come back.

Quietly located campsite, ideal for exploring the Odenwald. Friendly and uncomplicated reception. Super sanitary facilities.

At this site, one is warmly welcomed, is surprised by the very beautiful and well-kept sanitation facilities, and the clean pitches. This site can be recommended without reservation.

We were at the "Beautiful Odenwald" campsite in Wald-Michelbach for 2 nights in April 2016 with our motorhome. A new area equipped with grid stones specifically for motorhomes = top-notch. New sanitary facilities = top-notch, wonderfully spacious sanitary areas, very large shower stalls, large individual washing cabins, sufficient toilets, all very clean!! - so far the nicest sanitary facility in our camping experience across Europe. And all this at an extremely affordable price. Very nice host family. Charming surroundings for hiking (Olfener Moor, Siegfriedsquelle). Ideal for a short vacation. But apparently also suitable for long-term stays, as there are well over 100 long-term campers!
