Site of the municipality with medium-sized trees and shrubs. Mostly gravelled pitches. Separate area for permanent campers 300 m away. Railway line with underpass between site and lake, no train traffic at night.
Access to water
Accessible via footpath with pedestrian underpass to a 200 m long and up to 20 m wide, gently sloping gravel beach interspersed with larger rocks. Above, in a light forest, a 50 m long and 10 m wide sloping meadow for sunbathing.

The campsite is large and laid out in terraces. There are different categories; however, the ground is partly asphalt and partly hard gravel. For an unforgettable camping holiday with the whole family, the comfortable Schluchsee campsite offers an extremely quiet and natural location directly on a bathing lake, a child-friendly atmosphere and a wide range of leisure activities.
Family-friendly 4-star camping by a bathing lake
The campsite, which is open all year round, is around 4 hectares in size and also welcomes dogs. The 240 mostly parcelled-out pitches for holidaymakers have an area of between 75 and 90 m² and offer a high level of comfort with well-maintained sanitary facilities, electricity connections, water access and Wi-Fi throughout the site. In addition to the children's playground and a volleyball court, the pebble beach with sunbathing lawn directly on the lake, which is accessible via a short footpath, provides leisure fun for young and old alike. The Schluchsee, which is considered the largest lake in the Black Forest, is suitable for swimming, boating and fishing. Delicious refreshments and snacks are available at the adjacent kiosk. Hot meals are also served in the restaurant. Alternatively, you can cook for yourself in the evening in the communal kitchen or the cosy barbecue area. There are also a variety of cultural and natural leisure options outside the campsite. The famous 3-lake railway runs several times a day between Seebrugg and Titisee from Schluchsee railway station, just 2 km away. The ride on the historic steam train, past the picturesque nature of the Black Forest, is one of the most popular excursions in the region for both nature and history lovers. A detour to the Hochschwarzwald fun park, approx. 2 kilometres away, is also a popular day trip, especially for families.
