Lawn likely not necessarily green during the summer. Playground rather in the lower middle. Owner is nice. Free choice of seats on the meadow. Narrowly laid-out streets. Clientele is rather simply constructed. Those coming to fish should know that the fishing shop around the corner is closed. Trash costs extra. View directly on the Weser as always wonderful and excellently grand. Sanitary facilities could definitely be better. A lot of visitors at the own swimming pool.

Great location of the campsite, directly on the Weser River on a large grass area. One can easily observe the activities on the Weser and the Weser cycle path when needed. The pitches on the meadow are not marked. We were able to set up our motorhome, the trailer, and the two motorbikes without any restrictions on our chosen area. The site, the sanitary facilities, the pool, and the supply and disposal services were excellent. We lacked for nothing. We had the best weather and had planned to stay on site for 5-6 days. From this period, 11 days turned out to be the case after 6 days. Due to the high temperatures of over 30 degrees, we extended our stay as there was always a light breeze near the Weser River. Our alternative campsite could not have provided us with this. This decision was also influenced by the campsite operator, Mrs. Brader, who surprised us and the other guests with ice cream on one of the hot days. She cycled to each pitch in these temperatures and served a scoop of ice cream with cream in a cone. We have never experienced anything like this in 7 years of camper van camping. It was perfect for us to make bike tours along the Weser towards Hameln or Höxter or to ride the motorbikes to Kötterberg or to cruise to Warburg, for example. We will definitely come back, Family Brader, Best regards, the Heuers.

Often a long way to the disposal stations. No designated plots, so there is enough space available for everyone on the tourist meadows (directly by the Weser). Very friendly service in the on-site restaurant.
