It is the location of the place and the friendliness of the staff that make this place something really special. The word hygiene is highly emphasized here in the sanitary facilities.

A beautiful campsite located deep in the forest maybe 50-100m from the lake. A nice little campsite. And the staff is very very nice. We keep coming back. Greetings from Sylt.

We were there over the weekend. The campsite was quite sparsely visited due to the time of year. It was absolutely quiet there. No ambient noise at all. Very nice for cycling or canoeing. Dogs are also allowed to swim, but only three meters further to the right next to the regular swimming area. The swimming area is directly opposite the campsite, separated only by a sandy path. The staff is very friendly. Electricity is charged according to consumption for the enjoyment of camper buses and tent campers. The campsite is very well maintained and the sanitary facilities are very clean. Showers are now included (without tokens). However, the showers do not have handheld shower heads. It is also nice that there are washing cabins (lockable cabins with sinks). Not so nice is the atmosphere of the sanitary house. For me, it has a hospital charm. You still need a key for the sanitary house.

Very poor access, several kilometers of cobblestone, small path to the beach, unfortunately not for dogs; very loud, as there are many permanent campers who like to party on the weekends, showers cost extra, remember: no Wi-Fi, no satellite reception, no DVB-T reception and, if the site is located near the sanitary facilities, unfortunately also a lot of stench, we had site 64.

The site is located in the midst of nature, right by Lake Tornow, with a swimming area directly opposite the entrance. The sanitary facilities are still quite new and clean. However, you only get three minutes of shower time per token, which is somewhat tight, especially early in the morning when there is still a lot of cold water in the pipes. You need a key for the sanitary area. The staff is friendly. However, many things are somewhat cumbersome. The campsite calls itself a 4-star site, but in reality, it is very simple and too expensive for what it offers. The access is over about two kilometers of rough cobblestone, a torture for both man and machine.

We were a mixed group (motorhome/caravan/tent). We felt comfortable. The site, as well as the lake and the small road in front of the site, are very quiet. The site is plain, clean, and tidy. The staff on site was friendly, albeit a bit awkward. One annoying thing: the key wagon to reach the sanitary facilities (in such a remote campsite).
