Campingplatz Odersbach

This beautiful, well-kept campsite offers everything you need for a family camping holiday. Very nice location right on the banks of the Lahn. It is not noisy on the site. We spent a few days here with a caravan and family tent and we really liked it. The outdoor pool is free of charge. The play facilities and mini-golf were also very welcome for the children. The sanitary facilities are cleaned at least twice daily and are clean. The not too large site offers everything you need for a few nice camping days. A small kiosk with basic groceries and hygiene items, a baker right across the street with very delicious baked goods, as well as a pizzeria right next door. In Weilburg, 5km away, you can easily start a canoe tour that passes by the campsite, and you can use the site's own boat ramp. The owners and all the staff are very nice. You feel very comfortable here and leave happily and satisfied. Thanks to the entire team, we will come back again. Our conclusion: 6 out of 5 possible stars.

Great campground directly by the Lahn with its own outdoor pool

Beautiful place with good sanitary facilities. Small beer garden and an outdoor pool included in the price. All in all, we had a lovely stay with a child and 2 dogs.

We were there with a group consisting of a motorhome, tents, and camping barrels. Even during the reservation, they made a lot of things possible for us, and the conversations were always friendly, fun, and competent! So, we could stand together with 2 tents and a motorhome on a large plot. Parking on the site was available, and we could borrow a grill, and the outdoor pool was free!! Very dog-friendly and for walking, right by the Lahn was a dream. Showers and toilets were very clean. The only downside: on Sunday mornings at 4 AM, the showers and toilets were cleaned... like an elephant in a china shop. And since our plot was directly opposite... We would be very happy to come back!

Everything is there and very quiet.

The staff promptly responded to my phone inquiry regarding a place and reserved one for me at short notice. Very well-kept campsite and water, electricity directly at the site. Everything else is there, Very quiet at night, bakery 200m away. I will definitely come back again!

My phone inquiry about available spots and the reservation of a pitch was answered kindly - it worked out well. One should definitely avoid arriving during the midday quiet time and before the previous camper vacates the pitch (if there is one - check-out is until 12:00 PM) - there is only room for 1 vehicle in front of the closed barrier. Because the nearby power box (wide open despite billing per kWh) was completely occupied by the tent campers at the shore, our caravan could only be connected with the rarely used CEE extension cable. The sanitary facilities had a relatively simple impression in the style of the 70s; cabins arranged in a long row - but OK. The mask mandate was ignored by many (permanent) campers and even some cleaning staff. On the weekend, the site was primarily occupied by partly larger groups of tent campers. We did not observe any adherence to corona rules by these groups. Common camping rules seemed foreign to many; for example, playing children ran around on our pitch until 11:00 PM. After these groups left on Sunday afternoon, we had a few pleasant, quiet days by the Lahn. Overall: Satisfied.

It was a nice week with them and everything was nice and clean. We would love to come back. Had a nice spot right by the Lahn.
