Site
Terraced ground on a mountainside, divided by trees of varying heights as well as hedges and bushes. Tourist pitches in the front area of the campsite, some flat, some sloping, with minimal vegetation. Views of wooded hills and the stronghold of Burg Lichtenberg.

Approximately 2000 sqm large natural swimming pond with adjacent sunbathing lawn.

There is nothing to complain about
We stayed here for 7 days and can only say it was great. I cannot understand the other negative reviews; we were here with 2 children and a dog, and everything was superb. The owner is very nice and remains a human. We will come here more often and I can recommend it to everyone.

Without any understandable reasons given, we were told on the day of arrival that we should check out by 8 o'clock the next day. Pure Peace and Relaxation
This campsite has a beautiful swimming lake and is idyllically located at the edge of the forest, hence its name. In addition to the clean sanitary facilities, there is also a lot to offer in terms of culinary experiences.

Truly an Idyll
We were at this place over the weekend. Our children and we felt very comfortable. The area was clean and nice for kids. The natural swimming pool was fine, despite the longer heat, the water was not full of algae or had gone bad. We will definitely come back again.

There are rats in the campsite area. 4 pieces in the meadow in front of the building, with showers, registration, and a garden restaurant, noticed on the evening of arrival. Nice family-friendly campsite
Very clean, nice owners and neighboring campers, small bistro and great natural lake. For us, one of the best campsites.

Beautifully located below Lichtenberg Castle and the "Bollwerk". The site is beautifully located below Lichtenberg with a view of the castle and the fortress roundel. All facilities appear well-kept, especially the natural swimming pool, which is a nice attraction for campers and guests.
