The family-run Oberweser-Gieselwerder campsite, idyllically situated on the banks of the Weser, offers a variety of pitches as well as mobile homes for hire and a unique tipi village. Numerous hiking and cycling trails lead directly past the site, while the Weser attracts water-loving guests. The heated outdoor pool and the large playground are also popular. Various leisure activities, craft activities for children and nearby excursion destinations such as the Reinhardswald forest and the Sababurg zoo contribute to a varied holiday.

Long, stretched, two-level grassy area on the outskirts of town. On the lower level, reaching to the banks of the Weser, are the pitches for tourists, bordered to the back by a row of deciduous trees.

Wonderful place with a great management team
We have already been here for the third time and are thrilled. A lot is happening to further improve the site. A great new sanitary building has been created, and as always, everything is clean and well maintained. Keep it up, we will definitely come back and can recommend this place to everyone.

Beautifully located campsite by the Weser river
Since 2017, new lessee. In the new reception building (log cabin), there are fresh rolls, baguettes, and more, as well as cappuccino and more. Top place with very nice reception
Very nice place directly on the Weser and a very friendly reception. Roll service, local restaurant on site, outdoor pool, canoe trips, spacious pitches, well-maintained facility partly already modernized. Everything is available in the village and once a year there is a fair.

Nice Campsite by the Outdoor Pool
Lovely Whitsun holiday by the Weser. Outdoor pool right next door that you can use for free. Shower facilities are currently being renovated. Unfortunately, the new operator has allowed camping enthusiasts with dogs. Not everyone likes this, as there are simply too many. Better to focus on families … More

The family-run resort is located directly on the banks of the Weser between Hannoversch Münden and Bad Karlshafen. The Weser is perfect for water sports enthusiasts who want to explore the beautiful natural surroundings by canoe or paddle boat. Various hiking and cycling trails run right past the campsite.
Campsite with heated outdoor pool and large playground
There are 100 pitches on the approximately 2.5-hectare site, 75 of which are parcelled out. The pitches are partly paved and overgrown with green grass. The size of each pitch is between 80 and 100 square metres. It is not only possible to arrive with your own motorhome or caravan: The campsite's mobile homes can be rented and the tipi village with a total of 28 beds is available for larger groups. The campsite facilities include a sanitary cabin for guests with limited mobility. There is also a dishwashing sink, laundry sink, washing machine and tumble dryer for campers. WLAN is available in the reception area and in the restaurant. The restaurant offers a bread roll service every morning. There is a heated outdoor pool next to the Oberweser-Gieselwerder campsite, which campers can use free of charge. The nearby indoor pool can also be used in rainy weather. Children can play to their heart's content in the playground with a sandpit and great play equipment. Various craft activities are on offer for younger children. Numerous activities such as barbecues, buffets, line dancing and campfires are regularly organised at the campsite. The area around the campsite offers a number of interesting excursion destinations such as the Reinhardswald forest and the Sababurg zoo.
