Beautiful place as a starting point for bike tours. Clean sanitary facilities, however, can only be accessed with a key, and the toilet and washroom are separate. This is impractical when traveling with more than one person. Friendly staff, WiFi worked, "garbage area" was dirty. Doesn't quite fit the overall impression of the site.

Quiet little campsite. You can choose your spot without bureaucratic hassle, at least in the off-season. Friendly staff. Generous pitches. Electricity, hot shower, internet included in the price. Good hot food in the hotel restaurant. The train to the ferry passes behind the site. Not particularly noisy.

During the Corona phase, the site suffered greatly, and this is reflected in other reviews. However, I think it has been well made up for. In 2022, new electricity boxes were set up, which usually supply 6 plots. There is a CEE 230V adapter at the Schuko (? Why not directly CEE?). The area is more intended for heavy trailers/caravans than for tents. The grass is only a thin layer over the gravel. So don’t forget suitable tent pegs. The first row is mainly occupied by permanent campers. WiFi is only available there to a limited extent. The second row offers varied pitches. The plots are 8x8m and the access road is about 3m with gravel, plus a half meter gradient transition to the plots on the right and left. Large campers around 7m already had significant problems maneuvering here. WiFi should be considered a service that needs to be removed since it only reaches the first bush. The sanitary building was very clean, with showers (hairdryer available) featuring underfloor heating and usable without coins. Overall, the site is ideal for 1-2 days for travelers. One should weigh the decision for a long vacation. ADAC 3 stars are okay. We were here for 4 nights and very satisfied. 1 star 🌟 deduction for the lack of WiFi on the site and the practically outdated kitchen. We were just about to rely on that.

In May 2022, everything worked perfectly: without exception, very friendly and helpful staff at the reception and in the restaurant. Upon arrival, we received a key for the (somewhat fiddly) power boxes, and we could choose our pitch, so we knew whether it was easily accessible. I cannot understand the reported maneuvering problems. Sanitary facilities very clean, everything functioned, but they are only located at the entrance. Nice quiet site, except for the train that "chugs" behind the campsite to the port, but it only runs during the day. The grass and bushes could use some trimming again. Ideal for going to the islands (e.g., by bike) - the port and many other restaurants are only 300 meters away. Priced reasonably.

The site is not worth its money. Small sites, long ways to the electrical connection. Gravel paths barely walkable. No water connections on the site, only in the sanitary building. Staff somewhat less friendly. No site lighting. I will definitely not come back. I have been to many campsites. But this one is by far the worst for me.

I have never returned home from vacation feeling so crushed. The staff was absolutely incompetent and complicated. To top it off, the manager insulted us after we criticized that no one could tell us where the electrical box was the night before, and as a result, we couldn't use any electricity. "You should finish your school diploma; all the other campers manage just fine, except for you." Attacking guests in such a manner is simply a sign of unprofessionalism. We are really not demanding, but this "campsite" is an imposition. For anyone looking to have a nice vacation, I recommend not visiting this campsite.

We were at the campsite as a couple in early June. Great starting point for Amrum, Föhr, and the Halligen. Now about the campsite: All the other campsites in the area already had restrooms, toilets, etc. open for campers. Only this campsite owner found the effort too great. Although it wouldn't have been a problem at all. This was not communicated to us by phone. When checking in, we had to pay the full price for the booked days immediately. He is friendly to hotel guests, but campers don't seem to be welcome at all. He is very arrogant and unfriendly to campers. The power connections are very far away, so that you have to crawl between the other campers and through the bushes. Much too small for large motorhomes. This site will never be an option for us again.

We knew that we had to be "self-sufficient" and could not use the showers, but upon inquiry it was said that toilets and the cooking area could be used and that electricity and water were available on site. There was electricity if the cable was long enough, we needed 40 meters, water only in the building, brown well declared as drinking water, thank you, no thank you. Water was not on site. Speaking of missing facilities, WiFi nonexistent, toilets may only be used by permanent campers, others are second-class campers, grass knee-high, apparently you have to cut it yourself, cooking area not accessible, restaurant only for hotel guests. The reception in the hotel, waiting in line, hotel guests have priority, exit not really signposted, the boss is very "friendly" in a way that one could... great. He himself goes there and sometimes doesn't wear a mask. We felt really good when we left the place for day trips, it became clear on site that you weren't really welcome. This was by far the worst campsite where we were treated the most unfriendly, anyone can have a bad day, but 9 days?!? Thank you, no thank you, never again here.

Cyclists can discover the North Sea coast from the Neuwarft campsite on well-signposted cycle paths. One of these is the Warften route, which is around 33 kilometres long and leads through marshland that was once often flooded.
