Very friendly and helpful caretaker. We were just passing through and stayed there for one night. Equipment simple but sufficient. Village shop, pizzeria, and ice cream parlor, all within walking distance and tasty.

This small campsite is located directly by the Lahn river. There are pitches in three rows; the front row is occupied by permanent campers. However, we were also allowed to sit by the Lahn in the evenings. There is a swimming area and many birds to observe, such as ducks, swans, herons, and a kingfisher. The washroom is old but is regularly cleaned. Nevertheless, unpleasant odors quickly developed in the toilets. However, this was really the only downside of this site. To take a shower, you need shower tokens. These can be obtained from the site manager. Drinks can be purchased chilled at any time. Buns and other delicious things are available at the village shop nearby starting at 7:00 AM. To access the site, you must register by phone with the camping manager. This process is straightforward, and he comes directly. We really enjoyed it.
