Actually, we wanted to go to Nok to a parking space, but there were no spaces available. So, off to Kiel and to this campsite. And we were pleasantly surprised. The site is very nicely located at Falkensteiner Strand. We spent 2 days biking and exploring the area. The sanitary facilities are top-notch. We camped independently among long-term campers and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Roll service and reception friendly and competent. We will come back.

The site feels unkempt and shabby, trapped in time. Rest area feeling, nothing more. Many permanent campers give it the atmosphere of a junkyard, the plots are haphazardly constructed and not maintained. For restoring driving ability, one night is okay, but we will never visit this site again. Not recommended for motorhomes. You are supposedly not allowed to use the showers after 10 PM, are we in prison? Overall, no recommendation.

The staff is nice. The location is good. Unfortunately, it is hard to get a straight spot here. Only very long lifts help. Unfortunately, the showers are also not particularly clean. Coming for over 30 years, each time during Kiel Week. Nice, helpful staff. Ferry boats, reachable on foot from a distance. Both shower houses completely renovated. I keep coming back!

I was at the campsite in Falckenstein this year and I am absolutely thrilled. The campsite is located in a very quiet area close to the beach. The outdoor area is excellently maintained and very picturesque - absolute relaxation guaranteed. The staff at the reception and restaurant take care of the guests and have always been friendly and cheerful. The sanitary facilities have been freshly renovated - top modern - and incredibly clean! I can recommend this campsite 100% - we would love to come back! Thank you for this wonderful time!
