The campsite was okay for 1 night. Unfortunately, the manager of the campsite is very unfriendly. The permanent campers who have taken over the registration in the meantime are very friendly and helpful. Many pitches from permanent campers looked overgrown, which was not the case under the senior manager. Men's sanitary facilities have already been largely renovated. Women's sanitary facilities in the shower area are urgently needed.

The campsite is about 90% occupied by permanent campers - however, at the time of my visit, there were only a very few present. A very quiet place. The senior is very nice and helpful. What I did not expect: A superb sanitation area for men. That's 4 - 5 stars!

Very friendly staff, the place is relatively small. Reasonably priced but quite off the beaten path. The access through the small towns is quite adventurous, as the roads are very narrow. The men's sanitary building has been renovated.

Quiet site in a beautiful secluded environment

A problem occurred upon arrival - the reverse gear did not work. We were assigned a spot where that didn't matter, which was really nice. We found the sanitary facilities to be very good; however, beware: even cold showers come at the regular price. Many seasonal campers. The food supply in the village is basic with limited opening hours, and there are dining options also in the village. The meat vending machine is a great idea.

Overall, the 5 days at the campsite were very pleasant. The family-run business was open and always friendly. The image shaped by permanent campers shows a messy, somewhat rundown picture at one or another corner of the site, which did not bother us since we were placed more towards the entrance. The sanitary facilities were very different. While the ladies' facilities in the main building are aging, those in the men's area are new and very pleasant. In the second sanitary building, it was generally okay, only a musty smell was noticeable. The outdoor basin for washing dishes is unfortunately more functional than appealing. The exit can be tricky if the parking lot is full against the rather steep entrance/exit. The bread roll service on weekends was very tasty quality, but the rolls were only delivered relatively late. The vending machine with regional sausages and other products is a great idea, which we are very familiar with from urban environments, but we had not seen it at a campsite before.

We have been to Hutten 2 times and we liked it very much each time. The place, well, but the site and the immediate surroundings are simply beautiful.

Nice starting point for the "Eselsweg"

A place with brand new showers (costs 50 cents). Very clean sanitary facilities. Many permanent campers. Quiet time at noon must be strictly observed. There is also a café on site (e.g. pizza). Quiet location, not very suitable for families. Moderate costs. Supply and disposal easily accessible. Recommended.
