Access from the mainland (leave car there) with sea bath steamers to the island of Helgoland. From the steamers landing place, transfer to the island of Düne by ferry, approximately 6 minutes walk from there to the site. It is a very quiet place right by the Dollart. Clean shower and washrooms. The nice thing is that dogs are also allowed there.

Okay, getting there is a challenge, but those who face it will be rewarded! A very simple, clean, small campsite with clean sanitary facilities, a bit older and partially accessible for disabled people, but the price-performance ratio is great! Two weeks for under 300€ for 7 people (note, there is no electricity at the tent) is definitely worth the money! We were there for the first time in 2016 and even upon departure, the children asked when we would come back.

The site is located slightly outside. Permanent campers, temporary campers, and tent campers will all find their needs met here. There is also a tracking hut available. Dogs are welcome as well. The toilets and showers are clean. Rolls can be ordered. The food at the kiosk is tasty and affordable. There is a designated quiet time at noon. The price is simply excellent, and there are offers available. We have been here twice already. We will gladly come back.
