Campingplatz Heisterberger Weiher

We have been to this place 3 times! After Corona, apparently the prices were significantly raised. The new operator is making an effort and Rome wasn't built in a day! However, wash houses as containers unfortunately do not justify the price in the back area.

My wife and I ended up here quite by chance due to a family appointment and were pleasantly surprised. The comfort pitches in the front area have been beautifully landscaped, and there is a great view of the lake from there. The tent meadow is situated between the pitch and the shore, which of course creates some noise, but it doesn't bother us. Those who want a quieter experience can take a standard pitch further back. However, after 10 PM it became quiet. The sanitary building is in good and clean condition, the showers operate with shower tokens (1€). The dining options were decent, there is a beach bar and a sort of marketplace with Hungarian specialties. We were at the beach bar and treated ourselves to schnitzels with a cold beer and a fantastic view of the lake. At the reception, you can buy some basic products and rolls. We actually only wanted to stay one night but then spontaneously extended for another day. Somehow we found it nice there and will definitely come back.

We had a comfort pitch over an extended weekend...close to the sanitation building...unfortunately, all people walk through the pitches from the tents and lawn in the middle...of course...the shortest way... Dogs are allowed, but there is only one trash bin at the very front at the entrance of the entire campsite... Also, the night quiet time was not so great...it doesn't have to be perfectly quiet at 10 PM...but here cars are still driving around at 4 AM. So it’s definitely nice for families with children...however, it’s several hundred meters from the standard pitches to the toilet...but for peace and relaxation, it’s rather unsuitable....
