Totally Run-Down Dump

Total dump. Trash, shards, and dog poop everywhere. The parking spots are completely filthy. When I complained that the water taps were broken and the drainage was clogged, the lady at the registration desk only suggested that I could park somewhere else. The toilets were catastrophically dirty. The hot water in the showers was broken. The response was that it’s the end of the season anyway and repairs wouldn’t be worth it. Prices are outrageous!!!! For the same money, you can get a comfort spot at a 5-star campsite on the Baltic Sea with a sandy beach and sea. Conclusion: Definitely keep driving and avoid this place at all costs!!! 1 star for the lake.

Warning of catastrophic conditions

Absolutely derelict place. The garbage spreads its stench all over the area. There is no nighttime quiet and loud music can be heard everywhere. Even when asked at the reception, it was basically said that they can't tell us if the music will be turned off and that they do nothing about it. The sanitary facilities are in a horrible condition that one wouldn't even want to use the toilet, let alone wash their hands at the sink. The 'sand beach' is disgusting. The sand is stuck with sugar, fat, and food remnants. The places assigned to you are also filled with trash. One has to 'clear' their area themselves.

Chaos Site

Everything that has been written here I can only confirm. Additionally, there are regularly organized discos with a few hundred intoxicated young people. Afterwards, the campsite looks like a pigsty. The interests of the campers are not taken into account here. I have been camping for 50 years. I have never experienced anything like this. 1 star is already too much.

The opening times from 1.1. to 31.12. are incorrect. At the gate, there is a note referring to the site SH1450 (Colbitz) under the same management. The site was only open until 15.9.2019. Dirty, neglected impression, e.g., ladies' toilets without paper holders (the roll for every 2 stalls is on the ground). To empty the cassette toilet, one is asked to use the regular toilet. The sink was cluttered with rusty, old grills, the unburned charcoal scattered on the floor, the sinks very dirty. Not usable without one's own sink.

Beautiful location with loveless campsite layout
2
Anonymous
The location of the campsite is beautifully situated by a swimming lake with a nice beach! However, the design of the campsite feels lacking in care, with litter scattered around and an old abandoned RV standing randomly. The showers are free to use, but can only be accessed during certain hours. The restrooms are shared with all visitors to the beach and are correspondingly uninviting. At night, the site feels a bit deserted and creepy.

...is not worth the trip

Showers and sanitary facilities from pre-war times. As a permanent camper, water and electricity are overpriced. Beach and lake get 2 stars. Catering is virtually non-existent except during events.
