A very lovely campsite - small, quiet, and free of any seasonal camper garden gnome vibe. The sanitary facilities are a bit old but are always clean and decorated with little touches. In the surrounding area, you'll find many vineyards and villages with wine taverns and inns. A clear recommendation for a short stay.

Camping without frills in idyllic nature

Classic camping amidst idyllic nature without frills, not far from the beautiful village of Sasbachwalden. Those who love rustic charm will feel right at home here. Showers/toilets are simple, functional, and clean. The operators are very friendly and helpful.

Nothing for Dog Lovers

I went there on recommendation, the place was said to be dog-friendly, but unfortunately I cannot confirm that. Dogs are tolerated for free, nothing more. There are no reasonable opportunities for dog walking at the campsite and the creek is so overgrown that you can hardly get near it. You can hear it, but not see it. The absolutely worst dog-hating bus driver stops right in front of the door. The facilities of the campsite may have been modern in the 70s, but sorry, showers with curtains without any privacy are just not acceptable and they could really have invested something, everything is extremely old. I almost felt transported back to my childhood during the time of compost toilets in campsites. No hot water for flushing, no trace of Wi-Fi and trash fees of 3,- per day per person, seriously? Next time I'll bring my trash from home to make it worth it. Oh, and no thanks, never again.
