We wanted to stay for one night but left after just a few hours! One of the permanent campers was waving a gun and threatened us and our neighbors to shoot our dogs! Unfortunately, the owner did nothing, so we left in a hurry! Since you definitely can’t feel safe here with a dog, it’s not recommended either.

We liked the site very much, everything was clean and tidy. We will come back.

It was my first time here again after years. Very friendly operator. Quiet place with very good excursion opportunities. Recommended for motorcyclists. Additional accommodation options in the main building.

First of all: The operators took over the place this year. So don't be misled by the old reviews. We were spontaneously traveling in the Harz on Ascension Day. Everything was actually full, but the nice operator couple found a spot for us and our rooftop tent. Overall, the two were very dedicated, polite, and accommodating. Children are welcome there.

We have been here for the second time and will come here even more often. They are absolutely warm-hearted, lovable and attentive operators who always have an open ear. The campsite is really great. The service is top-notch. The sanitary facilities are nice and clean, all in all, everything you need is really there. A lovely spot for families to camp. A full 5 stars, you lovely people😄 unfortunately, I can’t give more. Best regards

I have been here now x times. For the amount of money you pay, you don't get much in return. Others can do it significantly better for less, especially regarding the accessibility of the operator. Here, the guest is not at the center of attention. They shine through constant absence. Other guests have complained about this as well. This is probably one reason why there are not many campers there. So the location is good, but the service is not. And it is definitely too expensive. When leaving, I wandered around for almost an hour to find someone to check me out, and that with only a handful of guests. I got up extra early to leave around 9:00 AM. At 10:00 AM, someone finally showed up. It is very annoying when you have over 400 km of travel ahead with a caravan. For my part, and I mean it, I probably won't go there again. It's a pity for me as I have been going to the Harz region every year with my caravan or motorcycle since 1987. Next time I will go to Schierke or Harzgerode, or to Kelbra by the reservoir. (There are more places there) Thank you very much.

Very quiet place. Free choice of parking spaces, no allotments, regardless of where you park. Very clean, modern sanitary facilities. Not overcrowded.
