Beautiful, well-maintained campsite with minimal drawbacks

We were there last weekend (unfortunately only) for three days. Very nice place, well-maintained, beautiful and shady pitches. The briefing was short and concise, just the way I like it. The lake is great, the catering is superb, and the prices are completely reasonable as well. Unfortunately, there are few playgrounds for the children. The restrooms and showers could use some renovation but are okay. We will come back. Price is also completely reasonable, 85€ for car, caravan, two adults with two children. We did not notice the highway, it is quiet in the evening. However, WiFi did not work for us.

Beware of construction noise!

August 2024

This summer (2024) there is a large construction site right next to the campsite. We were woken up at 7:00 AM by a loader right next to the tent behind a construction fence! We actually booked two nights. We were not informed about the construction site at the time of payment, yet they did not want to refund us the money for the second night!

Once and never again

August 2023

Dog owners are crammed into a separate fenced-off area. Next to garbage bins and construction containers, certainly not nice! The rest of the campsite is off-limits to dogs, which was not mentioned at check-in! The entire facility is in need of renovation and appears rundown. How can the ADAC give such a positive rating? We will never come back to this site!

Relaxing Days

The campsite is very idyllic... we were allowed to choose a pitch on the meadow... no fixed parcels... which was really a completely different but nice feeling. Everything is well maintained. The sanitary facilities are clean, even though they are old. We arrived in August for 2 nights without a reservation. Just managed to get a spot.

Great Campsite

Suse

June 2022

We come here every year for 7-14 days of vacation in our homeland. The campsite is located close to the A2, which is not bothersome because you can't hear the cars. The lake has been extensively renovated and freed from blue-green algae. Swimming with the children was really great this year!! The sanitation facilities are clean and perfectly fine for camping. Yes, there is only one place to do the dishes, but honestly... Everyone has a way to wash their dishes in their caravan or motorhome. If necessary, you can do it in a bucket... Many reviews here complain at a high level!! If you want luxury, enough time to shower, a 3-course meal, and whatever else, then you don't know what camping means and should better use the nearby hotels! It is very beautiful here! If you want, you can participate in the campsite's offerings. Whether it's a light show or a cocktail evening.... The association organizes great events here! I also think the layout is great. The dog area is fenced, and relatively far ahead you can park for a short time. If you stay longer, you can meet new people in the back pitches, and the permanent campers here are all very nice, helpful, and courteous! We will continue to come back every year!!

We went there with a dog and a child. With dogs, you have to stand in a small fenced area and are not allowed to move with your dog on the rest of the site or by the lake; instead, you must leave the area directly and then walk on an endless road. Sanitary facilities are not nice, somewhat clean but you always have to expect waiting times. Also, there is only one whirlpool that is basically always occupied. Once and never again.

Campcard probably not available

August 2018

Despite being shown in the camping guide, this Campcard was not accepted in 2018. In 2019, this site is again listed with the Campcard. I wonder if it will be accepted in 2019? Separate area for dogs. Fenced and uneven.
