Nice and quiet place, friendly reception. Clean and well-equipped sanitary facilities. Restaurant open from Wednesday to Sunday, good menu and normal prices, however, we didn't eat there. € 74 for 2 adults 2 nights with caravan including electricity. Be sure to buy some of the delicious honey in the shop. WLAN in the entrance area.

A tour with the girls took us to the Shire. Despite the later time of year, we used the pool every day after our bike rides, which were recommendable and beautiful. The facility is very clean and the sanitation facilities are top-notch; I want to mention that there is always radio playing in this area, which I personally found very pleasant. Showers and dishwashing area are all very clean and well-maintained. Electricity is okay; however, I recommend having a long cable if you have a nice spot like we did. The restaurant is also great, so all in all, a very beautiful and peaceful campsite located by the Lahn, and I will go back again. Honestly, do you always have to have mobile reception everywhere and at all times? Best regards, Susanne

Speak "friend" and enter! Our arrival with the caravan was almost as swift and uncomplicated. A very friendly lady from the reception guided us to our pitch. It was right by the Lahn, very idyllic and mostly quite quiet. The paths are named after "The Lord of the Rings", such as Hobbiton, Bag End, or the Anduin way, which we find very charming. For the power supply, it might be necessary to have a 30m cable. The sanitary facilities are modern and were always clean. The food at the restaurant "The Dancing Pony" is very tasty and served by very friendly staff. WLAN is only available near the reception, and mobile reception on the grounds is not exactly the best. Maybe that's a good thing, one doesn't have to be constantly fiddling with their phone. The round swimming pool was a refreshing relief on hot days. All in all, this campsite has a very cozy atmosphere, the site team is very friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable and will definitely return to this site.

Very friendly place... Places are not very big and partly like a field... The afternoon quiet is not observed, the lawn is mowed on the sites and cars are driving around too... for people who have no demands, the place is okay... WiFi is not available.
