The site is very quiet, allowing for a quick unwind from daily life. The site manager and his wife are very friendly, helpful, and ready to provide advice if desired. We spent two beautiful days here in mid-June and were the only tourists at the site with two campers. We were assigned a pitch at the very end of the site on a large meadow with a view of the lake outside the permanent camper area. Beautiful. The site is quite remote - at the reception, you can buy not just the essentials. The sanitary facilities are well-kept standard. There was nothing to complain about. We were spared encounters with larger vehicles on the long, partly very narrow access road.
