Municipal campsite. Meadow area interspersed with predominantly tall trees and some young shrubs, resembling a peninsula between the Kocher River and the canal reaching up to the reservoir (no swimming possibility). Located on the Kocher-Jagst cycling path. Road and lightly trafficked railway line within hearing distance.

Nice operator couple, well-maintained campsite run with "love", sanitary facilities are old but very clean. No comparison to earlier. Walking distance (25 min) to SHA.

The new lessees care about the well-being of their guests! We were able to recharge the bike batteries without any problems, set up the tent on the meadow, and first enjoy a welcome beer. The website does not promise too much; we felt at home immediately.

Nice operators, sanitation is alright. The lake isn't the most beautiful right now, but there are worse places. Coffee in the morning at the campsite house. Water, electricity for motorhome, everything available. Totally fine for a night!

Stay from September 19 - 24, 2021. Friendly and straightforward reception, which was already evident from my email inquiry. Choosing a spot was no problem. BUT very tight!! Caravan with more than 7.5 m + car, so about 1.7 meters you have to maneuver quite a bit! Then there are slight curbs at the plots! But not a problem with a mover. Very friendly and helpful operators! The site is beautifully and, above all, quietly located. It is very clean and orderly, the sanitary facilities are relatively old, but fully functional. There are partly washing cabins and 1 shower cabin, the rest has curtains. Extra payment for showers (from an ecological point of view, perfectly fine!!) The proximity to the city is another plus. Unfortunately: no Wi-Fi, not even for an additional fee. We would choose the site again!

Idyllically located with great tree cover and a fantastic starting point for beautiful bike tours. The site is quiet and clean, and the operators are helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Absolutely top-notch, I couldn't have wished for a better place for our vacation this year. 😍😍😍

We were there for two nights to look around the city. For that, the place is ideal. Friendly staff, basic but clean facilities. The site has a break from 12:00 to 15:00.

Good location for exploring the beautiful city. Biking is an advantage. Sanitary facilities are average clean, but somewhat outdated. Parking spaces are neat, access is partly over a high edge. Overall, it is okay for a short stay.

We stayed for 2 nights there to explore Schwäbisch Hall. The campsite is 2 km from the city center and can easily be reached by bike through a beautiful park (saves expensive parking fees). The site is clean but everything is outdated. However, it has charm, in a dignified way ;) We found it cozy....not suitable for a longer stay, but good for exploring the city or visiting the Wackershofen open-air museum. There is a small economy run by the caretaker. There is no shop, but there is a bread roll service. There are free daily newspapers. The sanitary facilities are old, but as clean as they can be. The owners do it themselves and are very thorough. They try to cover up the unattractive parts with some decorations...but it’s okay. On the day of departure, we wanted to stay until Sunday evening and were immediately informed upon arrival that we would have to pay a WHOLE day more for that. We often take such short trips and have only ever paid for half a day so far....I found that quite harsh. Especially since the site wasn't fully booked....but okay. But now comes the real blow: In the afternoon, a severe thunderstorm approached that then started pouring rain. We had to leave after lunch, so a full 2 hours later than the normal departure. There was no understanding for that and they charged us for a whole day....even though the site was half empty. Other guests were also annoyed/disappointed by this relentless money-making. This annoys me immensely and we have never experienced anything like this before. But if they want to make money like this, fine, but we will not visit this site anymore because of that. It greatly tarnishes the wonderful atmosphere that was otherwise there.....just really a SHAME, truly! We are disappointed!!!
