Municipal campsite in a beautiful location on the heights of the Swabian Alb, at the Schlichern reservoir. Meadow area at the foot of a hilltop, pitches for caravans and motorhomes enclosed by low hedges, tent meadow without vegetation. Dominated by seasonal campers. We did not like the place at all, even for one night; the parking spaces for short-term parkers are right by the street, no peace. The place is too expensive for the quality.

We could not reach our destination due to a car breakdown and were unexpectedly looking for an overnight place. On the phone, they kindly told us that the reception would be closed at the expected arrival time and not open yet at the planned departure time. However, the barrier would be open and we could put our fee in the mailbox. We were grateful for that. After a brief inspection, this would probably not be a place for a longer stay for us. There are parking spots for tourists along the fence to the street and the parking lot. It was too influenced by permanent campers and just bath guests.
