Campingplatz "Am Kamernschen See"

A little tip for everyone who loves nature and tranquility! The campsite is located right in the middle of the forest by the water - pure nature. There are no fixed pitches, so you can freely choose your spot and truly immerse yourself in the surroundings. The facilities are simple but completely adequate: the washroom is clean, there are options for doing the dishes, and for little hunger in between, there’s a snack bar with really tasty food and exceptionally friendly staff. What I particularly like are the leisure opportunities: you can rent a SUP or a boat, fish, or collect mushrooms in the woods. Boredom will certainly not strike here. However, my favorite spot is my hammock with a view of the water - there I find the peace I am looking for and can fully enjoy nature. A place I always love to come back to!

Forest plot by the lake, no site planning is wanted, the toilet on the site is a board-clad DIXI toilet, sanitary building from the 1970s of the GDR is 150 m from the site accessible via an unlit forest path, electric supply via a jumble of cable reels (business supervision?) Booked 3 camping spots by the water were charged and a piece of bumpy grass was offered, on a steep bank where no access for water sports is possible. The owner gives an unacceptable impression, is unfriendly and sly in the interpretation of the booking.

Anyone looking for peace from a stressful everyday life, good food, great people, beautiful nature, and relaxation is in the right place ;)

A campsite to my taste, without frills. Direct view of the lake from the pitch, quite idyllic. Well, the washroom is a bit far away, but it is clean and tidy. Would love to come again!

Price/ person/ night: 12€ (1-7 nights) Electricity: 3.50€ Tent/ person/ night: 3€ Showers: 1.50€ per chip Washing machine: 4€ Service: quiet, close to nature, by the lake, but 1 dog from a permanent camper constantly barks at all the passing guests. Tumble dryer defective, sanitary and washing facilities in DDR charm and too far away, no private beach, public beach too far away and the WC and changing area there were closed.

Anyone looking for peace and quiet is in the right place here, great site, very friendly staff. Directly by the lake, simply great, we are coming back in 2023.
