A beautifully located spot, right by the lake. Unfortunately, that's the only positive aspect. The sanitary facilities are in poor condition and were unbelievably dirty during our stay, which is also contributed by the associated beach. The place also seems very crowded and very noisy.

... I leave this campsite with mixed feelings. Very nice location by the lake and good opportunities to explore the surroundings around the Untersee and Überlingersee with the e-bike. Friendly welcome at the site and guided to the pitch. Overall, a clean impression but definitely starting to show i

We have already been to A. several times for short stays (usually 3 days with a VW Bulli, registered in 2021), so we are familiar with the sometimes tight and tricky, closely arranged situation and manage well. Direct lake access with great sunsets, 12-hour bistro with good management and offerings,

The great location right by the lake, the shady trees, and the very friendly staff made up for a lot. The pitches are very small, and the site gave me a somewhat dirty impression... especially the waste area was totally filthy :( What a shame!

We were five with the caravan (7.50 m) there for five days during the Pentecost holidays. Well-kept camping, sanitary facilities relatively new, nice and clean. Staff was very friendly. Due to the pre-reservation, the site manager showed us all the available pitches and we could choose freely. All

Practical sanitary buildings, most pitches under tall trees, meadow leads directly to the bathing beach. Even in summer heat, shady sitting under trees. Restaurant with a large terrace highly recommended. Although right next to the railway, hardly to be heard.

I was already there once in 2017, everything was great. But now, I can't recommend it to anyone who loves grilling and having a nice time. We found out that grilling is allowed, no matter what kind of grill, every grill makes smoke. Then the owner of the site came to us and started saying we are not

Motorhome drivers, tent holidaymakers and families with children are in the right place at the Camping am See campsite. Cyclists use the well-kept site as a starting point for extensive tours along the shores of the lake. When camping with a dog, varied walks await the two- and four-legged friends.
The Camping am See campsite is just a ten-minute walk from the town centre with its numerous shops. There are 118 pitches with electricity for caravans and motorhomes on the 3-hectare site. There is also space for 80 tents on a separate meadow. Sports enthusiasts like to reserve the 6 m² cyclists' rooms with a parking space for their own bike. Charming wooden cabins round off the extensive range of accommodation. Some of the cosy accommodation is located directly on the shores of Lake Constance. The 260 km long Lake Constance cycle path also runs past the Camping am See campsite. A tour of around 11 km takes sporty holidaymakers to the beautiful city of Constance with its famous cathedral. The island of Reichenau, located directly opposite Allensbach, is also a great excursion destination. Those interested in culture should take a stroll through the town: the charming local history museum provides information about the history and traditions. One of the highlights is the collection of artefacts from the Neolithic Age to the 20th century. Constance impresses with numerous sights such as the Imperia statue at the harbour entrance or the famous "Cathedral of Our Lady". The cultural city on the Swiss border is also home to the oldest spoken theatre in the whole of Germany. Music lovers staying at the Camping am See campsite can look forward to the regular live concerts during the summer months.
Each pitch is a maximum of 150 metres from the clean sanitary facilities. The restaurant with home-style, regional cuisine and inviting terrace is also centrally located. Guests can order fresh bread rolls here for a delicious breakfast the next day. The feel-good atmosphere is created not only by the spacious pitches and the marvellous view of the island of Reichenau, but also by the helpful staff. Families with children appreciate the proximity to the well-tended sandy beach as well as the children's playground directly on the site. The wildlife and leisure park in Allensbach is an ideal excursion destination for young guests: Holidaymakers can admire more than 300 wild animals up close on the 75-hectare site. Its attractions also include the giant slide, the "Nautic Jet" and the spectacular adventure playground. For a more leisurely experience, take a ride on the park railway.
