Campingplatz Aichelberg

We stayed there for two nights on our way south. Clean, modern, and spacious sanitation facilities, a brand new reception building with a small shop and bread roll service, a small restaurant that unfortunately closes at 8:00 PM, all loading and unloading possibilities. There’s a dog run directly from the site. And the operators are professional and very friendly. Occasionally, you read about the "noise from the highway." Yes, when the wind is right, you can hear the noises at night. But perhaps that’s also because it’s otherwise very quiet! For us, a great place that is far too nice to stay for just one night!

Actually, we live only 15 km away. But every now and then we need to get away for a short trip. This place is a dream for us. Camping without a long journey 👍. The site is very quiet unless disturbed by the chirping of birds 😂. The sanitary facilities are in excellent condition. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be taking more short vacations here from now on.

We have now stayed at this campsite for the 2nd time, once on a trip to vacation and once on the way home from vacation. The site is located near the highway, which is visible from some spots, but not audible. It is therefore by no means disturbing. The site operators are very friendly and helpful. Food is available as take away or in the small beer garden (without service). The sanitary building is always clean. The only downside for me is the wash basins. At my height of 162 cm I have a little problem washing up because the basins are mounted very high. On our next vacation trip heading south we will definitely stay at Aichelberg again.

We used the site as a stopover on the way home for two days and were pleasantly surprised. The reception was very nice and friendly, the sanitary building quite new and clean. There is a small shop with the essentials and a good Italian restaurant right at the site. A supermarket and bakery are nearby. We took a nice bike tour through the beautiful landscape. The site and the area still offer potential for more vacation days.

We used this site as an overnight stop, just a few minutes to the A8 highway. Very nice operators, quite new and very clean sanitary facilities. The really delicious food options are also impressive.

The proximity to the highway is almost understated, yet the place is very quiet. You feel somewhat "snuggly" with the other campers, but you also get into conversation right away. The operators are extremely nice, and I have never been guided so expertly backwards to my parking spot - THANK YOU. The toilet house is relatively new and was always clean. The Italian restaurant at the sports field is also highly recommended!

I was thrilled with this campsite. Since I also need internet access with my laptop while traveling, I was pleasantly surprised by the good and free Wi-Fi quality. I will definitely come back!!
