Idyllic, quiet campsite
Idyllic, quiet campsite with very friendly staff. The showers and toilets should be cleaned more often. The site has everything you need and is very well maintained.

We spent 14 days at the campsite and were not impressed. The area is very beautiful, but the site seems unkempt. The paths are filled with gravel, which is surely cost-effective, but not good for campers. Bicycles have no grip, and walking on it is also very difficult. The sanitation is very clean, … More

Great place but there is still room for improvement
We were three people at the very back of the campsite in the romantic corner. It was very very nice and completely quiet. I have a few criticisms. High in the north of Germany, the Schlei-Karschau camping park welcomes boaters, families and couples for a varied holiday. In addition, the surrounding area with its numerous walking trails provides the perfect conditions for camping with dogs.
An ideal campsite for active and relaxing holidays
Just 8 km from the picturesque harbour town of Kappeln in Schleswig-Holstein, the Schlei-Karschau camping park is surrounded by rolling hills. 145 spacious pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents are available there. It is also possible to rent a cosy caravan with space for up to 6 people directly on site. If you are travelling with your own boat, you can book a mooring at the same time. There are also excellent wind conditions for sailing and surfing. Alternatively, the Schlei-Karschau camping park also offers motorboats for hire. The site operators will be happy to organise an individual fishing permit, which entitles you to fish for delicious eel, perch and whitefish.

The friendly staff at Schlei-Karschau Camping Park are happy to help guests with valuable tips and suggestions. The site not only offers a variety of water sports, but also a wide range of leisure activities on land. There is a horse riding centre nearby and hikers can enjoy extensive tours in the Hüttener Berge nature reserve. There is also a hire station for bicycles and e-bikes on site. After an eventful day on holiday, guests can recharge their batteries in the cosy restaurant, where fresh bread rolls are also sold for breakfast in the morning.
