Campingpark Münsterland Eichenhof

Sanitary clean, but far too few for the size of the campsite. Permanent campers are partly dirty.

The proximity to the lake and forest was good. The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities was poor. I felt like it hadn't even been cleaned. There are no benches in the showers. The door to the showers is right next to the playground; when you open the door to the washroom, the other ladies are practically naked in public.

We have been using the space for forum meetings for a few years now. And we enjoy it again and again.

the price has increased by about 15% this year, which is still understandable given the generally rising prices. Unfortunately, the saving on energy is exaggerated: in the showers, there are still 3 minutes of lukewarm water. I think that is already quite cheeky. It seems to serve more for profit maximization. On the side with the swimming lake, there is still no sanitary building, meaning quite a long walk. The barrier is closed between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM. This is no longer up-to-date. The restaurant on site was, although not crowded at all, hopelessly overwhelmed: appetizers forgotten, and incorrect main dishes brought. Well, we ate somewhere else. Conclusion: we will not go back for the time being.

We did not find a 5-star rating for this campsite. Sandy pitches, analog cable TV, inadequate supply columns at the comfort pitches with sometimes long paths to the parcel. The campsite rules apparently do not apply to permanent campers (traffic on the site before 7:00 a.m., during quiet hours from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and after 10:00 p.m.) Quiet times after 10:00 p.m. are disregarded by the permanent campers and they play bingo until they drop. The Wi-Fi concept is not comprehensible for the consumer, the same goes for the below-average food at the Eichenhof restaurant, as there is no posted price list at the campsite and on the internet. Only the farm shop and its operators were very concerned about the well-being of the campers. The sanitary building was generally acceptable, however, on some days the shower rooms and toilets were not very clean, even though there were few campers on the site. Therefore, there are only these 2 stars.

The site is nicely situated and offers everything to stay. We noticed nothing negative. We would be happy to come back.

A nice campsite. Beautiful location and good for unwinding

We stayed here for 2 nights in the area by the swimming lake. Overall, it was okay. The site is divided into 2 areas. One area for tourists and a few seasonal campers, and one area for seasonal campers and a few tourists. The sanitary facilities were okay but nothing more. I would wish for more sanitary facilities and especially showers in the area with the swimming lake. I don't think we will come back since there are nicer campsites in the immediate vicinity.
