Allegedly very clean sanitary facilities... CLEAN we know differently. The toilets will surely be cleaned at some point, but not really. In particular, the toilet area does not really give a clean impression. The urinals look shabby, the water pressure for flushing is (presumably to save water) miserable - that's why almost all basins still have urine in them when you want to use them. The only sink in the toilet area has a dirty edge - this should be thoroughly cleaned regularly. The toilet booths are very cramped, but at least there are disinfectant dispensers to clean the toilet seats before using them. The shower doors are open at the bottom and the top - not everyone's thing. Part of the mini tiles on the floor is already coming loose. Here too, you constantly feel that the cleaning is done only superficially and without enthusiasm. The entire sanitary section does not give a really inviting impression. And only two (!) sinks for the entire place is simply a joke. After dinner, you have to stand in long lines with a basin full of dishes. And right next to the sinks are two cooking stations. Fish are cleaned and fried there while you want to do your dishes in the same cramped space right next to it. At the entire site, you get the feeling that it is being run "into the ground." The pitches are actually very nice, but look neglected and are very well occupied. The distance to the neighbors, when fully occupied, is more reminiscent of a motorhome parking site than a campsite. And the self-promotion "CampingPARK Himmelpfort" is simply a gross exaggeration. The prices for the services offered, despite electricity and shower included, are completely inappropriate. The prices for the small wooden barrels "mobile homes" are also outrageous. Charging 70,-€ per night for minimal standards without shower and toilet is quite audacious. Just like the prices in the small shop that the operators run here. 15,-€ for a simple bottle of Grauburgunder that costs maybe 4,-€ in the supermarket, or 12,-€ for a pack of "Jacobs Krönung" is just outrageous. Seriously? In front of the reception, there were about 50 cigarette butts on the gravel from the night before, while the operating family sat at the little table next to it, chatting happily and drinking wine... Really a shame! Such a beautiful place and such poor management! WHO tested this location from ADAC? Usually, there is always reliability, and we really know MANY places across Europe!

The campsite is okay, but just too expensive. If you are looking for something to have a beach holiday, you will get your money's worth. For 2 adults with 1 child for one night, 49 euros. Electricity and shower were included, but still I find it not proportional. The facility was clean and the staff friendly.

about 25 sites with lake view or partial lake view in a sunny location, many more sites in the forest with shade without lake view; very helpful owner and the staff is attentive, roll delivery service, ice cream, delicious pizzeria, you have to walk about 100 m into the lake before reaching deep water for swimming, sanitation is aging but always clean, sites sandy or with small stones, corona rules were not an issue throughout the entire area
