Campinginsel Havelberg

We called the day before and asked for a camping spot. We were told that it would be fine, just come on over. When we arrived the next day, we couldn't find the reception at first. So we called the evening's number and were told to go to the reception and then the call ended. Unfortunately, without any explanation of where it was. Then a man approached us to ask if the camper in the check-in lane belonged to us. After we explained what had happened, he said that we probably wouldn't fit together and walked away. For a 2-hour journey and no alternative on a Friday evening, that's really strong. We suspect that the campsite was full and that's how customers are informed.

We called a day in advance to ask for a free spot for the weekend. Response: we can manage that, just come here first. On-site we called because we couldn't find the reception. After a brief conversation asking him to explain where it was, the call ended. A man came up to us and asked if that was our motorhome, which was in the check-in zone. We confirmed this and told him what had just happened. And we got the response that apparently it just wasn't going to work between us. And then he just walked away. For us, underground service. Definitely not worth a star.

Everything was good, centrally located what more could you want

Spacious, divided and beautifully located campsite, within walking distance to the small town of Havelberg, clean sanitary facilities, with everything a camper needs. Well-organized processes, with fresh rolls in the morning, coffee in the afternoon, beer or similar in the evening.

Short vacation on an island in the Havel. Located directly in the small town of Havelberg. Everything is within walking distance in the town. The operators of the campsite and the small gastronomy are the best. Very relaxed and yet well organized. Nice sanitary facilities. Poultry wanders over the pitch. Ponies graze the lawns briefly. Great camping experience. We would love to come back.

Good camping with good sanitary facilities and recreational activities. The restaurant is recommended. However, the site is quite remote. Great cycling tours can be made from here. Most pitches are very shady since the site is located in a forest. The sunny pitches are mostly XL pitches that are more expensive.

Really beautiful, family-friendly, and clean.

We were greeted very nicely and could choose a place in peace. The spot is wonderfully located on the spit of land. We had a view of the Havel and the old town. The sanitary facilities are very clean. The pitches are mostly left in their natural state, we would love to come back.
