Negative experience. Because .... First of all. The site is well-located and has a small beach by the lakeshore. The sanitary facilities are clean. Site: - no trees, little shade, children's playground in full sun - a tractor puts motorboats into the water all day (next to the beach); it is loud and with the right wind direction, it smells like diesel - motorboats come and go; right next to the swimming area - sanitary facilities are cleaned from 10:00 to 11:00 for one hour - very narrow arrangement of caravans and motorhomes, very little privacy The campsite management enforces strict rules. Everything is orderly here. How parking is allowed. That you cannot grill at your own pitch. When the reception is staffed and when it is not (closed at lunchtime), showers cost 50 cents, and electricity is charged at a flat rate (€2) plus the amount of electricity consumed. Our experience: principle takes precedence over care: After 22:00 it is quiet time. (this, however, does not apply to the beer & schnapps-drinking guests of the gastronomic establishment and their noise levels). This applies to the entry of vehicles. It's posted everywhere! So far, so good. We arrived at the campsite at 22:02. The barrier was closed. We were coming from Konstanz. Although we had gotten into the car on time, there was the two-country flea market. There was incredible traffic. No one answered the phone at the campsite at 21:20 — we wanted to inform them that we would be delayed. The reception was in the dark. There was still some action in the pub. I encountered the owner there. Accompanied by my explanation, apology, and my request to open the gate one more time, the audibly irritated owner explained to me that it would be closed at 22:00 and that no exceptions could be made, out of principle. Mind you, this was exactly at 22:03 — we then retrieved our remaining items and looked for a spot in the wilderness. We still had to pay the bill.

The campsite left a very nice positive impression already over the phone. This was confirmed on site as well. The reception is very helpful and supportive. The campsite is family-friendly, there was a morning entertainment program for children, a small playground with swings and a fountain for splashing around. We were quickly taken care of, for example, we immediately had an electricity connection. The sanitary facilities are regularly cleaned and are in very good condition. Unfortunately, internet is not free and only available near the reception. In the nearby area, many activities are possible that can be enjoyed as a couple or with children. Lastly, I can say that I can highly recommend this campsite and would go there again anytime.
