We made an overnight stop here at the end of October. Our email inquiry was kindly answered and a table in the restaurant was also reserved as requested. A well-maintained campsite – everything is fine. We (trailer, 2 people, electricity <5 kWh) paid a reasonable 25.95 EUR/N with ADAC CampCard discount. We also tested the restaurant: Nice, modern atmosphere. Top service. Only the menu is a bit too limited.

Never again, why? Unfriendly staff, upon arrival the ADAC card was presented, the place was noted for my partner and upon departure they initially did not want to accept the card because the man at the reception apparently forgot to note it. The remark that a lower price was indicated in the app was dismissed with "that's wrong". You can forget about the WiFi, no reading messages possible. The toilets are clean but cold. We did not feel like guests, but like a necessary evil!

Close to the train station with good connections to Heidelberg, Heppenheim, Weinheim, etc. Supermarkets (Aldi, DM, Edeka, etc. within short distance) Friendly reception Small and clean spot for short holidays (perhaps longer in summer) One half permanent campers and on the other side small and larger pitches for guests.

Beautiful campsite, sanitary facilities are perfectly fine, very clean. Enough showers and washing facilities. Family-run campsite. The proximity to the highway doesn’t bother me. Great: direct access to the lake beach; access to the lake is included in the fees. The size of the pitches is sufficient. The tall beech hedge could be a bit lower. The site is mainly occupied by permanent campers. The number of tourist pitches is nevertheless sufficient. At night, the site is quiet. This is written by someone who has been here several times. Bread roll service except on Sundays. Various shopping opportunities in the village.

This site is mostly inhabited by permanent campers, but there are indeed enough sites for vacationers. Site size is completely fine. Sanitary facilities are a bit outdated, but always clean (during cleaning - in the mornings for 1-1.5 hours - it is completely closed). The lake directly at the site can be used free of charge, which is very nice on warm days. If you decide to eat at the nearby restaurant, it is requested to make a reservation; getting a table here on short notice is very difficult. The morning rolls are available at the reception (pre-packaged rolls including content) and can be taken for a certain fee (first come, first served ;)). We were quite satisfied, but we would only use this site as a "city tour site" since there is no real vacation feeling here. For those who are heading south and pass by here, the site is highly recommended as a transit site since it is quite close to the highway.

Conclusion after 9 weeks stay at this site: Everything is always clean, both the sanitary facilities and the grounds themselves. In the evening, it is always very pleasantly quiet very early. Unfortunately, you can sometimes hear the nearby highway, but I didn't find it disturbing and was always able to sleep well there. The lake is pleasant but gets very crowded on weekends. The restaurant is quite good, the food is tasty. Unfortunately, the drinks are quite expensive. No remark: If you arrange something at the reception, make sure to write down the name and the date. There is still room for improvement here, and if things don't go well, you will be asked who you spoke to. 😉 But the place is good!

A nice little campsite with many permanent campers. Very clean and well-maintained sanitary facilities, small to medium-sized pitches, direct access to the lake and a small playground. The A5 motorway is audible, especially directly by the lake.

We spent two rainy days here at the end of September. The pitches are sufficiently large and partly separated by dense hedges. The sanitary building is large, modern and well-maintained. The restaurant on site is top-notch. One star deduction is given for the poor lighting (at least in Street 1). It is not easy to avoid the puddles when it is pouring rain at night. And because of the unsightly drainage channel in the washhouse. In summer, the lake must be great. We will definitely come back...
