Camping am Waldbad (Dellach im Drautal)

We were here for the second time, in 2024 to look around, in 2025 longer. The site is not very large, it is quiet and peaceful, the train line does not disturb at all. For us with two large dogs ideal, exercise opportunities nearby. The adjacent swimming pool is available to guests free of charge. A supermarket is located about 600 meters away in the village. The site is very suitable for cycling tours on the Drau cycle path, the train ticket for the return is free with the Kärnten Card, bicycles cost €2.50. I particularly liked the cleanliness of the adequately available sanitary facilities and the friendliness of the staff, not always a given. Overall, the site gives a very well-kept impression, we will definitely come back!

The place has a nice view. Very few and dirty toilets, not closed. The restaurant is nothing to shout hooray about and way too expensive for what they serve.

The campsite is located directly by the swimming lake, and as a guest, the use is free of charge, making it a nice refreshment after an outing. Logically, it gets a bit more lively/noisy here, but not disturbing. And at 6:00 PM, it's closing time there. The sanitary facilities of the site are very well cleaned, are at a good level, and are sufficiently available. Overall, the site is very clean, and the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. As always, we traveled with our two large dogs and our caravan. The ground of the site consists of grass, it was dry, and thus the dogs and we enjoyed it. I can't say how it looks when it rains. The opportunities for letting the dogs run are very good, the Drau bike path with grass and forest is in the immediate vicinity. Longer tours with the dogs (in our bicycle trailer) are also very good and nice!

We were thrilled by the friendliness/hospitality that was shown to us here by the entire staff! Whether at the reception, cleaning staff, lifeguards, gardeners, etc. Suggestions were gratefully received, and that was noticeable. There was also a nice walking round for our 11-year-old dog, good bike paths, and a warm shower. Everything else like the amenities etc. was top-notch. We would love to come back again. That's how vacation should be fun.

Very beautiful view, clean sanitary facilities, friendly staff. The playground and the Waldbad are both wonderful! The restaurant is fine, but I would think that you can find better alternatives close by.

Very family-friendly! Great outdoor pool, activities in several languages, friendly staff. The sanitary facilities are clean. The camping site is not large but very comfortable. Overall a great vacation!
