I have been here with my caravan for 4 weeks now and have been camping for 35 years. I have rarely felt so comfortable. I've never experienced such peace during the week. On weekends, more permanent campers come and there is a celebration, it gets loud until late. That's how the Belgians are! 95% of the permanent campers are predominantly in chalets. Everyone is very friendly, and the family-run business with all its approximately 10 employees as well. A huge area, so many tourists can still be accommodated. Also, there are free spaces between the chalets. No problem with supplies thanks to the location near the city with 3 supermarkets, one of which is on-site and open on Sundays, but the site itself is on the outskirts of town in a rural area. The bathroom, approximately 15 x 7 m, opens at 1:30 PM and has a counter. Waste disposal with hours of operation is unusual, but you can also easily get the key in between. On Sundays, the reception is closed, but someone comes when you arrive. An ideal central location for the famous cities and the coast, about 1 hour by car all around. 2 sanitation buildings, one of which has aged in terms of facilities, but both are very clean and without toilet paper. The sites themselves are very large, well-maintained with large hedges separating them, and each has its own water, wastewater, and electricity connection with a lunch break from 12-1 PM. The large restaurant on the site was closed during my time. There is a large children's playground and a large soccer field available. Many chalets with very good amenities are rented out. Several new chalets were just delivered and installed. I paid €480 for 1 month all-inclusive plus electricity, shower, and washing machine and dryer. You pay €33 all-inclusive per day besides the washing machine. Overall, highly recommended and not crowded at all during my time.
