The campsite is not too large and very cozy; the sanitary facilities are clean and well-maintained. We had a private bathroom with a shower and toilet, which are small but also very clean. There are good opportunities for hiking and cycling. The staff is very nice and accommodating. A large portion of the pitches are equipped with artificial grass; if you want to set up a tent, it is definitely advisable to bring a really big hammer for driving in the pegs. The location of the campsite is great. It's lovely to walk along the Geul to Valkenburg. Pitch/Rental Accommodation: The back field (after the first night - see below - we were at pitch G02) is quite spacious.

The smoke from the wood-burning heaters/hot tubs of the glamping accommodations is annoying and not environmentally friendly. This is really outdated. Pitch/Rental Accommodation: We indicated that we had a 10x4 m tent trailer, but we were assigned a spot where, due to the half-surfacing, we could only set up our tent trailer without an awning. Fortunately, this was kindly addressed and we were able to move to another spot after the first night where that was possible.
