Torre Rinalda Beach Camping & Resort

Once and never again! We spent a week with our camper van at this campsite. From arrival to departure, we did not feel welcome as foreigners; we were merely tolerated. The beach is beautiful and the XL spot is also spacious enough. However, we needed a 25m extension cord as the neighbor, an Italian camper with a permanent pitch, did not want the cord running in front of the tent. The toilets have no toilet seat (2 do) and the temperature in the showers is often unmanageable. The cleaning staff just stand around chatting and do not clean or replenish toilet paper. Virtually no staff member speaks English, except for one exception at the reception and the pool kiosk. The lifeguards are unfriendly and uninterested, do not speak English, and do not give any information about renting loungers or swim caps. Next to the campsite, there is a Futura club that plays incredibly loud music from the afternoon until 12:30 AM.

Pros

Cons

Less aggression from the reception staff and a better attitude to your disabled guests . We saw people shouted at and no consideration for disabilities Pitch/rental accommodation: That we could not keep our car on the pitch which was a real worry for us . There was also a lot of noise in the evening which did not stop until midnight .

Pros

Close to Lecce Pitch/Accommodation: Spacious pitches. Renting a beach chair and umbrella is extremely expensive.

Cons

Change the closing time, there was no access from 13:00 to 16:30. Pitch/Accommodation: Boring environment, not much to do in the immediate area outside the gate, a few days of field burning in the surrounding area. Odor problems and also a desolate sight when you bike or drive here.

The beach is beautiful, but the campsite is lacking. During the day, quiet periods must be observed, the pool is off-limits, and there are no snacks available after 3 PM. Instead, every evening you are bombarded with loud and disruptive music. There are only 2 washing machines for 500 pitches, and often there is no toilet paper by midday, and the word service seems to be nonexistent here.

Extremely loud techno music, on Saturdays it's impossible to think about sleeping until 3 AM. No excursions possible until the evening, because there is no entry with a camper after 8:30 PM. That’s why we left earlier.

Very large and clean campsite. Space for our motorhome (6.80 meters) absolutely sufficient, the power supply is also enough for the air conditioning. Great clean beach and a fantastic seawater pool. Nice and helpful staff everywhere on the site. The only but very big drawback: intense sound amplification from the animation and open-air disco in the club right next door. 3 days of continuous sound from 10 o'clock in the morning to 1 o'clock at night, with a break from 1 to 3 o'clock (end of August). So unfortunately nothing for those seeking peace and relaxation.

We spent a couple of weeks in September in this campsite. The spot is very peaceful and comfortable. The beach is stunning and we really appreciated the high-quality service. Very nice pool as well.
