Nestled in a 50-hectare natural park on the dunes of Centenara, Camping Village Belvedere Pineta unfolds its magic. Since 1963, this area has stood for freedom, with trees that were once tiny now offering wonderful shade as stately giants. In camper reviews, guests consistently praise the relaxed warmth and the spacious layout, which grants every camper soothing privacy. Children cycle around safely, while the comfortable "Villini Miramare" with integrated barbecues promise cozy evenings. PiNCAMP interview with the campsite manager
Exclusive information you won't find anywhere else.
1- How would you describe the atmosphere at your campsite in the morning, in the afternoon and in the evening?
In the morning, one wakes up to the sound of cicadas, the afternoon closes the day with the sky reflected in the lagoon, and in the evening, the stars, crickets, and owls allow for a regenerating sleep in the coolness of the pine forest.
2- Introduce yourself!
Since 1963, we have been navigating the phases of outdoor tourism, striving to guarantee cutting-edge services without forgetting the true, irreplicable value that only we can offer. The care of this place is our mission to allow our customers to experience it and carry it in their hearts.
3- Is there a local product guests take home as a souvenir?
The Santoreggia grappa, the Friulian frico, the San Daniele ham, the Collio wine.
4- Is there anything else you want to tell us?
As a campsite, we are truly ideal for those who love to travel freely: no reservation is needed, and you can stay as many nights as you wish; the pleasure of the journey is not contaminated by the obligation to fit in reservations.
5- Is there a place where children make new friends especially easily?
Children will find two large playgrounds, the children's pool, and in July and August, the Mini Club: in addition to the daily program, the Baby Dance remains an unforgettable moment.
6- Is there a situation where you repeatedly realize: "this is exactly why we do what we do"?
We deeply believe in the magic of this place and are committed to ensuring that its unique features provide the best backdrop for a holiday where it's truly possible to disconnect from routine and immerse oneself in nature.
7- Is there a story of the campsites history you enjoy telling your guests?
The campsite was founded in 1963; there was an electrical column with everyone gathered around it, a hot shower, and a queue to wait your turn... the plants were one metre ten tall and now they're taller than the roofs. The supermarket and Self Service were the first in the region, and people came from the cities to play on our red clay tennis courts.
8- What is the most spectacular accommodation you have on your site?
The Villini Miramare are masonry bungalows, 45 sqm, with built-in barbecue and lagoon views, even from the fourth row! The location is enviable, and the layout of the accommodation allows for optimal management of spaces in the most diverse travel configurations.
9- What is typical of your campsite, but difficult to explain on photos?
The total immersion one experiences in the natural park.
10- What makes your site different and stand out from other campsites nearby?
The enormous space left for guests: the property extends over 50 hectares. Guests on pitches can freely choose the one they prefer: shade, sun, near the pool or the beach, flat or terraced, near the service blocks or the restaurant... Guests staying in accommodation find their neighbours at a safe distance: you can share an evening but also have your own privacy.
11- What should guests not miss—even if it’s not mentioned in any travel guide?
The sunset on the beach.
12- Which encounter between guests has stayed particularly memorable for you?
The couples who met here and return every year, first with their children and then with their grandchildren....
13- Which regional food or drink should guests absolutely try?
The Boreto Gradese with a good glass of Friulian wine or Malvasia del Collio.
14- Which spot on your campsite makes guests say “WOW”?
The place where we are, this magnificent park, its centuries-old trees, a vehicle for natural refreshment, the campsite's location nestled on the dunes of Centenara, surrounded by water, and kissed by the sea breeze, ideal for disconnecting from everything and finding yourself again: Grado and Aquileia are just 5 km away.
15- Which story do children tell when they are back from holiday?
The children rode around in absolute freedom on bicycles, made lots of friends at the Mini Club, slept and ate all together in the little house, and saw shooting stars on the beach.
16- Which strength of your campsite is often underestimated online?
Nature is often taken for granted, but it is an aspect we cultivate with a precise idea: to leave the park as natural as possible.

A very poor campsite, completely rundown. Cicadas (insects) everywhere making very loud chirping noises all day long. It's extremely annoying. We had booked for 3 weeks but left after 1 week.

This campsite is disappointing!

As a camper who values cleanliness and good service, I was disappointed with my stay at Belvedere Pineta. Unfortunately, the negative aspects outweigh the positive points such as the beautiful location in nature. The sanitary facilities are the biggest point of criticism. They are in very poor condition, feel outdated and were often unclean during my stay. For the prices being charged here, this is simply unacceptable. The overall maintenance of the site also leaves much to be desired, the paths and green areas look neglected. The price-quality ratio is not justified. You pay a high price but get an infrastructure that urgently needs modernization. Additionally, there are sometimes high extra costs for services that are standard at other campsites, such as wifi.

Campsite ok, too expensive for what is offered during high season.

Showers and toilets clean. Beach clean. Location and surroundings very nice and quiet despite many campers. Beach bar good. Had a pitch a bit away from the hustle and bustle, that was a good choice.

Terribly neglected place

Loud, constantly driving tractors that also pollute the air, overall a completely neglected area, sports facilities cracked and defective... Small shop only for minimal supplies with canned goods, drinks, ready-made bread, almost nothing fresh. Freely roaming dogs, that is frightening. Water very shallow, not suitable for swimming, stinks of mud and algae.

We had a great vacation. Of course, it could be better, but considering the availability and price, we would be happy to come back!

Real peace if someone wants it, otherwise there was already something going on. Grado is about 5km by bike, easily accessible. Supermarket at the site, restaurant was okay, and sports facilities. We had clean showers and toilets. The site has aged, but it didn't bother us. A little annoying was that motorhomes over 280cm had to use the side entrance, which took a while. The Wi-Fi or network was a disaster. But all good, we were on vacation and with the e-bike we were quickly on the move. TV only worked with DVD. No network, even email was exciting. But the site can't be blamed for that.

Natural, somewhat outdated campsite. Great for dog owners.

The campsite is very beautiful in terms of the terrain. The pitches are large and shady, with beautiful old trees. You can walk wonderfully with your dog, and the run area is also large and fenced. Our pitch was very quiet, not close to the road, and you can choose the pitch yourself, which was also possible in mid-August. The sanitary facilities were clean but very outdated. I felt like I was transported back to the 80s, every camper was running around with toilet paper. Toilets without toilet seats. The cleaning lady was aggressive and constantly scolding. Overall, the buildings are very outdated and need more than just a coat of paint. The food in the restaurant was very good, but the decor was quite unloving. The supermarket has everything you need for daily necessities. The beach is clean but without direct sea access, making everything a bit muddy and swimming not so great. The dog enjoyed it. Animation was only available at the pool for a few hours and twice for children's dancing in the evening. I would go there again because it was quiet and not overcrowded even in August, and I don't need animation. I can also ignore the cleaning lady. 😏😂

We were allowed to spend 10 days here and apart from the pitch under a large pine, there really isn't much to commend. The advertised beach can only be accessed with water shoes - the water stinks, the ground is saturated with seaweed and mud, not really great. The toilets are clean but without seats, soap and towels it's an experience. The restaurant was good, the supermarket had everything you need, and the large, shady pitches. Rather unpleasant is the adjacent road, which does have a speed limit, but nobody adheres to it, and also the Beachboys who every morning at half past seven sort the sand again with a huge tractor.... the same will also be used every afternoon from 12 onwards to drive around with an aging trailer and spy on the campers in their tents. We will definitely never do this again - driving almost 1000 km for such a disappointment. How the ADAC could get its 3 stars is truly a mystery to me.
