Great place for visiting Venice

We come here every two years to visit the Venice Biennale. The bus connection is excellent (100 m) and it takes only 10 minutes to reach Piazzale Roma. The campsite has options available for all sizes. The sanitary facilities are very good. A Lidl is 500 m away. A new path has been built to the park, which is about 200 m away and has been very well developed. Long and beautiful walks with dogs are possible.

Motorhome
Family
We stayed at this campsite with a motorhome for two nights in mid-August 2025. The site is not very large, is quiet, but still conveniently located (about 5 minutes to the bus stop, about 10 minutes by bus). The sanitary facilities are modern and clean. In the air-conditioned restaurant, you can either sit down to eat or buy bread/rolls (in the mornings after 8am, you often have to wait a long time). Unfortunately, the playground is mostly in the sun during the day. Minor downside: there is only one indoor pool, which the reception says is 31 degrees warm, which doesn't offer much relief for hot summer days, especially as you have to pay €2.50 per person for each visit. Conclusion: very good campsite to explore Venice, for longer stays it would be too boring for us.

Motorhome

The site is clean and modern, the sanitary facilities are also well-maintained and clean. The pitches may be a bit small for large campers, but it works with a van or partially integrated motorhome. Since the pitches are gravel, it's not suitable for tents.

Very Good Campsite

The campsite is very clean and offers many opportunities. The showers and restrooms are very clean. Furthermore, there are washing machines, dryers, and a place to wash dishes. There is also a small playground and a swimming pool for families with young children. The connection to Venice is perfect. The prices are also quite reasonable. The only downside of the campsite is the many mosquitoes. A small stream flows behind the campsite, which might be where the mosquitoes come from.

Video Surveillance in the Sanitary Area

Jürgen
First of all, the entrance area with the washbasins at the end of the room is monitored by video for both men and women. There is no indication of this. Everyone can see it themselves on the screens at the reception. Otherwise, the sanitary facilities are clean and in good condition. Many places are very narrow, and often only one table with two chairs can be set out. The awnings can only be opened halfway; otherwise, you need your neighbor's space. Dryers, washing machines, and sinks are clean and present. We can personally give a great rating just for the pizza at the restaurant. For the watery noodles with the bland tasting light tomato sauce, we give minus 5 stars. Italian cuisine should be able to do better than this. We have been traveling to Italy for over 35 years and have never been served such noodle dishes anywhere in Italy. This place is no longer an option for us, especially due to the video surveillance in the sanitary building.

Good campsite

Sandra
We have been for a few days at the campsite spontaneously. Very nice welcome, small, very comfortable and clean place. Very clean sanitary facilities, small supermarket and a restaurant is also available. also there would have been a pool, we didn’t use this, but it looked very nice. Perfect connection to take the bus to Venice. Tickets can be purchased at the reception. Also nearby is a nice big park.

Beautiful place for a visit to Venice
Superb10
Uwe
Clean, beautiful site, pitches are sufficiently large, quiet at night despite being in the city and close to the airport (about 8 km), spacious and very clean sanitary facilities, unfortunately only centrally located once, but with a small swimming pool, nice staff, smooth check-in and check-out, optimal for visiting Venice, you can get there by bus (3 € round trip) in about 5 to 10 minutes, the bus stop is in immediate vicinity of the site, buses run every 15 minutes.
