Several different-sized, partly flat, partly hilly pitch fields in an extensive, hilly dune area. Pitches are also located on high dunes. A holiday home settlement borders the northern edge of the site.
There is a military training area here. Especially in the pre- and post-season, you may occasionally expect disturbances from shooting exercises.

If you like many dogs, you are in the right place here. Under two to three barks per pitch, nothing seems to happen here. Unfortunately, we had a pitch by the dogs' toilet area and therefore had good contact with all the dog owners. Worse, however, was the smell of feces, because on the dog field there was also the drainage system for these droppings. In sunny weather, a penetrating smell was ever-present. Absolutely not recommended is the snack bar at the entrance, which is absurdly also labeled 'snack bar'. On the last evening, we wanted to order four pizzas. The customer before me ordered two burgers, after which the cashier announced a wait time of one hour. When I asked, he told me that the pizzas would not take that long. When I inquired after 45 minutes, it turned out that our order had been completely forgotten. It was only frozen pizza anyway...

Great place from start to finish. In the midst of dunes, you can pretty much set up anywhere. Whether sheltered somewhere below or up on the dunes. The sanitary facilities are very clean. During peak times, you might have to wait for a shower, but at most 10 minutes. The supermarket has everything you need. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate with us, but the campsite can't help that. We will definitely come back.

Very beautiful location near the beach, almost like wild camping because there are no divided pitches. Very nice people at the reception. Fantastic sanitary facilities, very clean, new, and pleasantly heated! Great! Nice walking opportunities.

We were there in May with our motorhome and wanted a pitch without electricity, as we had invested a lot of money in a solar system. Unfortunately, we were only offered pitches with electricity, even though pitches without electricity are marked on the plan. After a long discussion, we finally got a pitch where we didn’t have to pay for electricity. In my opinion, that is not okay, because it should be up to everyone to decide whether to take electricity or not. Otherwise, the site is very nice and the sanitary facilities are excellent. What is not so nice is that the pitches are assigned and you cannot choose where you want to stay. The staff at the reception is also not very friendly, and you have to pay in advance, even if you do not know exactly how long you want to stay, and any overpaid money is not refunded.

A beautifully located campsite, in nature. Super organized clean campsite, with great, well-maintained sanitary facilities. The pitches are easily accessible with the caravan. Many people use the site just for passing through, which is a pity. We spent 2 weeks at the site and did not regret a second. The surroundings offer plenty of nature and direct proximity to a beautiful, large beach. The great playground attracts children like a magnet.

The site is located in an idyllic dune landscape. We were on the site during the red deer rutting season, and the stags wandered between the plots and were standing on the dunes next door. The sanitary facilities are well maintained. We would love to come back anytime.

Between the naturally formed dunes on the west coast of the Danish peninsula of Jutland, Vejers Strand Camping welcomes its guests to a camping holiday just a few metres from the North Sea. The extensive natural areas are also perfect for dogs.
Camping in the midst of dunes shaped by wind and weather against the backdrop of the calming sound of the sea - at Vejers Strand Camping, holiday guests can enjoy idyllic tranquillity in harmony with nature. The pitches of various sizes extend over the hilly dunes and are thus partly separated from each other in a natural way so that holidaymakers can enjoy their privacy. There is a playground with a bouncy cushion and climbing frame for younger guests to run around and make friends, while older guests can socialise in the barbecue area. The mini-market provides daily necessities.
Only a short nature trail separates the campsite from the beach and the sea. The sea is ideal for swimming, fishing and various water sports such as kitesurfing and surfing, for which the rough, characteristic weather creates the best conditions. The kilometre-long beach is particularly popular for long beach walks, and in the low season dogs can enjoy their freedom here without a lead. There are also two dog forests nearby where four-legged friends can let off steam. Numerous hiking and cycling trails lead through the dunes, and there are also several routes for mountain bikes. For a day trip, we recommend the beautiful harbour town of Esbjerg, whose imposing landmark "Man by the Sea" is a must-see.
