We thoroughly enjoyed the warm reception, the contact with the owners, the tranquility of the campsite, and the lovely restaurant. The village of La Chatre is within walking distance and features several restaurants and charming terraces, along with a commercial area just outside the center with various shops. The opportunity to follow different cycling routes from the campsite is also very nice. There are beautiful walks to take in the region too. The tourist information in La Chatre has comprehensive information about this. Pitch / Rental accommodation: The accommodation was brand new, very spacious, and beautifully arranged for 2 people. We were also positively impressed that everything operated on electricity, including cooking, so no more worries about an empty gas bottle.
