The place is really conveniently located for a visit to Friedrichstadt, also nicely situated by the Eider. The pitches were generous and you have free choice of your spot. The sanitary building is really quite old and it wasn't very clean. A caravan pitch costs 12.00 € in 2023, 8.00 € per adult, electricity 5.00 €, and the dog 4.00 €. For what you find, I think the price is quite steep. In the imprint, the operator writes: "There must be order." This motto should be taken into account for the site in general. It's funny that registration still happens by hand and they still use blue paper. Welcome to the 21st century! 🙃

The telephone registration and reception were nice, friendly, and relaxed. The location is excellent for the old town (Little Amsterdam!). The facility is very well-maintained, the sanitary facilities are not the newest but are clean and well-kept. (Also heated!) We were very satisfied. The snack bar is also recommended; it's not a Michelin-star restaurant, but everything is prepared fresh and tasty. Breakfast coffee and rolls at the gas station are also recommended. All in all: top!!!

The spaces are not delineated. But it works well. Currently, there is no caretaker. The area belongs to the shipping company Schröder. For questions, one must contact the manager. If you can reach her, it goes well... The proximity to the Dutch town of Friedrichstadt is great. 8 minutes to the historic marketplace. Shopping sources can be found everywhere. Even to St. Peter-Ording, it’s only a 30-minute drive. It takes an hour by car to Denmark, and to the Baltic Sea, you need a good hour. Husum and Heide are basically "at your doorstep".

This C-site was unfortunately the low point of a 2-week trip with the camper van: - the sanitary facilities are in a poor state due to their age - the staff at the reception are overwhelmed - the check-in intercom system does not work properly - there is no possibility for camper vans to dispose of waste water (even though this is indicated in the ADAC camping site guide) - the "playground" does not deserve its name (a swing and an unusable slide, as it is too low) Overall, a poorly designed and partially dilapidated facility with bad service and poor value for money. I can only recommend to every camper van to go to the parking space that is about 200 meters away.
