Level meadow terrain with various tall deciduous trees and bushes, on the Moselle. High-voltage power line above a part of the site. Adjacent separate motorhome harbor. In a noisy location.
Separate parking of cars on a part of the site is mandatory. Directly opposite is a large pitch suitable for transit stays.
Between Trier and Koblenz, the river is accompanied by busy roads, partly on both banks. Combined with heavy boat traffic, this situation can lead to disturbances at campsites located by the river.

I have rarely seen such a messy and unkempt campsite. The sanitary facilities were very good, but mud from the pitches was being brought into the sanitary facilities. It was also muddy on the pitches, as there was no ground covering. The older woman at the reception was very unfriendly to us, speaking in a commanding tone. We had the impression that she completely did not care whether we stayed overnight or not.

The site has a good location right by the Moselle. The town is easily accessible by bike. Much more could be done with the site. On the homepage and also here in the app, there are photos of a beer garden that apparently hasn’t existed for more than 5 years. What bothered us the most was that the only two heavy gates of the enclosure can only be opened with the chip, which is very difficult if you want to pass through with a bike. Very strong springs close the doors repeatedly. The staff is also a bit strange and not hospitable. The vacant spots next to us were mowed at 2 PM with the lawnmower. The whole washroom was only cleaned by one person between 11 PM and 1:30 AM with the Kärcher. Showers and partially also the toilets were then not available. Visitors were rudely sent away. We will not come back.

We had a reservation, but, like some before and after us, we were greeted by a smugly grinning lady who obviously took pleasure in informing us that the place was fully booked. She had no alternatives; that was not her problem. We were asked to leave immediately. However, about 10 campers were lined up on the narrow access road, making it hardly possible to do so. Again, she stated that it was not her problem. After everyone stood there in shock and confusion, a gentleman took pity and opened the barrier, allowing the line to drive through the site to turn around. Fortunately, we found a very nice campsite outside that welcomed us with the children in the evening. Here, one star is still too many.

Sanitary clean, staff unfriendly, view of the Moselle obstructed by bushes, surcharge for this not justified, branches on the pitches very low so you have to maneuver a lot,

A very nice little campsite with small flaws that are quickly forgotten due to its direct location on the Moselle.

The location has potential that is not being utilized. Primitive sanitary facilities, poorly cleaned and musty with moldy joints. The only fresh water tap right next to the disposal point for grey water tanks - we weren't the only ones who found that disgusting. For the entire site, there is only one option to dispose of waste water: the large drain to empty the camper tank. While others are emptying their toilets, you pour your waste water into it - delicious! We left earlier than planned. Trier deserves a better camper site!

A very well-maintained and clean campsite. Despite the roads and shipping traffic, a quiet location. You can quickly reach Trier by bike, and the Moselle cycling paths are good to ride. Nearby there is Kaufland for shopping. Notable is the clean and well-maintained sanitary building. The the staff at the campsite is friendly and helpful. The site is recommended.
