Very friendly groundskeeper/operator, extremely helpful and attentive. We found this site rather by chance as a stopover on our journey from the northeast of Germany to the southwest. A large meadow surrounded by old trees forms the actual camper area; otherwise, the site is mainly characterized by permanent campers. There are shaded and open pitches, and we were able to choose our own. The fact that the power box was a bit further away was not a problem at all. Hardly had we thought about it when the groundskeeper appeared with a cable reel in front of our car. Adjacent is a public swimming pool. The surroundings invite exploration tours to the manors and small castles in the Saale-Unstrut nature reserve or for cycling tours and dining in the village inns. A supermarket, an inn, and the town of Bad Bibra are within walking distance. The sanitary facilities are older but clean and well maintained. Bread roll service included!
